She's still there. Most City fans seem to want the top brass to stamp on journalists or uninvite them to press conferences. We've had so much shit from journos trying to piss Pep off and get under his skin.

But seems a bit harsh to pin it on her, granted she is the press officer but can’t imagine she tells the club how to deal with things. She’s following orders from above
 
If she’s let it go on this long without compiling a watertight case, she needs to be sacked and humiliated because it would be clear that she isn’t fit for the job. Get in a real FCUKING hard nosed bitch. They’re normally brutal in law.

She is not the Press Officer she has a broader role as Head of Comms which means she will have quite a lot of involvment in CFG issues not just Manchester City. In fact i think this is part of the problem. I suspect the lines are a bit blurred between the group's broader strategy and our football club.
 
city never have played the press or media game and always look weak and scared at doing so

even pep in his city interviews looks like he is some where else and hates the free to say what ever they like when press ask and dingle the hooks
the sky witch hunt was the worst bit of time attacked ever on tv ?? both B.silva and pep got the kangaroo court and was guilty as charged

Something is badly amiss . Bearing in mind all the positive things we’ve done for football and Manchester in the last decade it beggars belief that we get a virtually entirely negative write up.

Turning the other cheek isn’t working it’s time for no more mr nice guy.
 
Been mentioned a few times on threads,just a shame Gary Cook wasn’t at the club still,he’d have come out fighting remember his rant a number of years back when he thumped the table while shouting down the gathered media at a press conference..
 
The media storm was always going to happen, even more so now because we are in a winter break and the press have fuck all else to focus on.So speculate they will. Eventually the histeria will die down and some sense may rise out of the nonsense being written. At least Martin Samuels understands what its all about.

Completely agree. We have been constantly dug out by the media. When you think Chelsea had won the league once before Abramovich took over...their slating for ruining football went on for about 2 years before it stopped. They beat FFP and were allowed a seat. Meanwhile we came along and got so much stick. We came from further back than Chelsea but the club has just allowed the negativity to persist.

Our brand is continually slated. The wider investment and positive contributions our owners have made just a token mention and then ignored. Even with this news breaking, I have only seen one or two stories that actually review the facts and look at what FFP is all about and how wrong it is as a concept. Fair enough United and Liverpool fans loving it, but no supporter of anyone outside those two should be supportive and should want City to win their appeal and bring UEFA and FFP crashing down with it.

We may have reported false revenue but we had the targets moved late in the day and subsequently got punished. We paid our fine took the reduced squad and moved on to try and maintain a relationship. But we warned them then we would be willing to take them down in the future and now is our chance.

Leicester, Wolves and Everton fans should be right behind us. As should any other fans that would like to have a chance of success in the future, or just more equal opportunities. True FFP would be a salary cap akin to rugby union.
 
Essentially Eufa is like a select poker game. You can only get a seat at the table if you have a few ££zillion, but you must have either won that wealth as a player at the table or borrowed it against the fortune you lost at the table. Our face doesn't fit and never will so fuck em .
