Well, when you have a former chief executive of Liverpool FC on the UEFA investigatory panel who basically decided whether there was a case against City and also decided whether we should get banned is almost laughable but considering what has just happened it is really quite worrying. Our club was taken over from Shinatwatra who was lending money from Wardle to pay players wages, in steps Sheikh Mansour who turned he club around investing in players, infrastructure and the surrounding area, fund the Manchester institute of health and performance, our academy and everything in between......... Down the road you have Man Utd who have won many titles etc and have been a rich club for a very long time, the thing is, their owners bought the club in 2005 and put them in £700m debt(the 1st time they had been in debt since 1931), since then they have spent over £1b on servicing the debt yet only reduced the debt by £300m, they are still in hundreds of millions of debt 15 years later......yet City's owners are doing it wrong and illegally. Liverpool breached FFP by not being within the revenue loss limit just like City were, Liverpool even withheld financial records(probably until they could cook them) then magically handed them over and everything was fine, they said it was because the failed Stanley park stadium idea which cost them and put them over the limit. Because they said sorry and eventually managed to write off tens of millions for the failed stadium bid and showed that going forward their business model will succeed, they were let off, who was one of the investigators? Rick Parry....
Its obvious UEFA and the likes of Liverpool, United, Arsenal, Bayern, Real Madrid etc feel threatened by clubs like City and are doing everything in their powers to stop us.
Liverpool are the worst for it, they have the New York times on their side alone with that comes huge amounts of negative City stories. The day after we won the league last May, 90% of the media coverage was about City getting banned from Europe, a story the NY Times did and their sub agencies etc then release like a plague.....
THEY GOT IT IN FOR US AND THEY CAN FOLLOW UNITED TO ROME TO SEE THE POPE FOR ALL I CARE.
