Talking about us on sky pledge,i don't know who it is but going on about arab petrodollars,it's on now, greg dyke is saying the prem are investigating us right now,UEFA not really qualified to investigate us,probably not the only club to find a way around it,most clubs are doing the same things as us
Did you check out his watch?

This is precisely the problem City are facing. Some journalist puts out some unsubstantiated nonsense about us, and fans of every other club immediately treat it as fact, and we are demonised.

And here we are, believing what Panja reports about PSG, without any real proof or corroboration. The one person around here who has some vested interest about PSG, has researched them, tells us what he knows, yet we refuse to believe him. We're as bad as those we criticise if we behave like this.

Exactly. @Parisian has been a fantastic poster on here. Like us, he defends his club but has also backed it up with a lot of factual information that many of us weren’t previously aware of. I don’t know how factual that article of Panja’s is about PSG but what I do know is that I remember reading it last summer and seeing a glaring mistake in the first few sentences - PSG did not buy Neymar and Mbappe in the same sunmer transfer window. They bought Neymar and loaned Mbappe who they bought the following summer. Whether that was a genuine mistake by Panja or a deliberate one to make PSG look worse, only he can answer.

Whoa. Nothing gets past Conn does it. He's way too sharp for us.
He says this

Following good governance practice to encourage independent application of the rules, the CFCB and its members have nothing to do with any other Uefa work, although by definition they have to be appointed by Uefa and are assisted clerically by its officials. The structure follows European governance models, with two separate panels to consider cases.

As if they are not talking to each other about what to do lol

Having read the NYTimes piece on PSG are they setting the scene for evaluation arguments when it comes to City's 'hearing'. IE create a scandal about how UEFA/Middle-east owned clubs have previously gotten away with inflating income streams, and then when this subjective issue comes up again there will be no chance City's argument will be listened to without prejudice. I might be paranoid, but I can see it playing out that way. It would be two birds with one stone - both PSG and City taken out. A few people in UEFA get a slap but with all the reporting on City and PSG no-one looks at Juve/Bayern/RM/Barca at all and they get away scot free.

We really need to blow FFP out of the window, it's the only way

Totally agreed, I might agree later just to bump this again

This has been a well planned and orchestrated attack by the established order of the premier league and the European cartel. They are aided in this attack by their many friends in the media. Since the takeover the mouthpieces have been sniping constantly. Sports washing, human rights abuses, cheating, you name it and it has been said, over and over until people take it as the truth. Once the masses believe it then it's time to go for the kill and hit us with charges hoping some will stick. Damage our good name, reputation, the brand and do harm that sets us back years.

In my opinion the fight we face now is as serious as when we got relegated to the third tier and we underestimate our opponents at our peril. You can bet if a ban sticks and/or a points deduction or demotion from the premier league, the scramble to tighten the rules even further to ensure we never get back to the top will begin in earnest.

A shame that and something the club could maybe look at?
I appreciate that Soriano was trying to say there are good people that work for them but the club should allow blues to sound off however they like so long as nothing gets thrown onto the pitch or anything like that,it's not right that fans across europe can stick up brilliant displays when we are the ones who have been banned

Ofc he bought the WC and the Athletics. You don't get to organize this without buying it. It is only more obvious because Qatar is more exotic. It has been proven Germany, South Africa, Brazil before paid for it. Qatar manages to bid for a summer WC and turned it inot a winter WC. It is too hilarious not to think they bought it.

Then, how did he buy the UEFA executive committee seat ? He has to be elected by the clubs, not UEFA. So he bought all the clubs and they kept quiet ? And this place has only become vacant because Arsenal CEO left for Milan AC (there can't be two representatives from the same football association and Juventus chairman had already a seat). Did he pay Gazidis so that he goes to Milan in order to get the seat ? There is nothing to prove that unless your intimate belief.

Who is Nasser sponsoring to gain influence ? Qatar is on bad term with Barça. Qatar sponsors Roma (hardly a cartel club), Bayern (cartel club), FIFA, Boca and PSG. This is some influence they have got from sponsoring those clubs ! Meanwhile Emirates from Dubaï is sponsoring AC Milan, Real Madrid, Arsenal FC, SL Benfica, Hamburger SV, Olympique Lyonnais, and Olympiacos FC. Qatar sponsoring doesn't seem out of order and is in fact inferior to Emirates sponsoring.

What i am disputing is people blindly believing PSG escaped without a scratch thanks to Leterme while we actually got hit financially. We lost 42 M€ from QTA and we lost again dozens of millions on our other contracts. If UEFA tells you your Etihad deal is worth 40 M ( and some dozens on Etisalat and Aabar) and you have to find the difference to balance your book, is it a total win in your book ? Will you say that Leterme has been bribed by City ? And again, the difficult part of City sanction is the alleged breach of the financial situation reporting, not simply the inflated value of your deal. So if you think PSG should have got done while complying, you shouldn't complain about City ban by your metrics.

If i was to mirror your statement, i could say : I have nothing against your club or fans but your owners... I don't remember PSG executives exchanging emails about selling the image rights to a company, which is actually owned by our owners. I don't remember PSG paying their coach with some bonus coming from a middle east club (Mancini). I don't remember PSG executives saying that QNB will pay 3 M while QSI or the Emir will top it. Etc.

Personnally, i believe City will prevail but if the CAS is judging City with prejudice, the same way you are judging PSG (with often wrong facts that i happily debunks with links),

You seem to think bribery is ok? You seem to think having a Winter WC is ok, fuck the leagues and the disruption it causes. I'm not going on about PSG your club but your chairman. If Khaldoon had the same dodgy resume, I would be very critical, and would feel very uneasy about him as our chairman. You don't believe your chairman is unethical?

I am a bit worried tbh, what if we never get left alone or even worse the club has been lying, even if we are cleared the damage has been done to our reputation already, pep staying is great and if don't lose any sponsers we should be able to rebuild, when he leaves we'll see what the damage really is
