Yes I reckon there would have been a few here and there looking to ambush the odd few Blues. I think there was quite a bit of bad blood between us at the time. The problem with a game like that is we had a good 44,000 fans down there and while not all were fighters, they would have to have picked their battles carefully not to have come unstuck.

That's ridiculous, we may not be guilty of breaking FFP but were certainly guilty of treating fans like s**t! Hope they come through mate.
 
It’s incredible that the ticket office sit on the tickets for weeks, and then send them out in the week of the match and advise they SHOULD arrive by Thursday. It fucking worries me that we are hopefully going to smash the fuck out of uefa with our expertise, yet we can’t manage to arrange a sensible ticket allocation. Typical City lives on, sorry Gary
 
Groundhog day every cup final.
There will be a few that will not arrive but most will.
Pant wetters a plenty.
If you are going to Madrid and are worried arrange for collection at Wembley on the day of the game.

Ok I agree that’s the most important thing but you want to be able to relax and look forward to the final without the stress of coming downstairs every morning thinking please please please let them be here and then your heart sinks when there’s nout there.

Yes it makes absolute fucking sense to leave the ticket distribution to the last possible moment, why would anyone think sending them out a bit sooner might make sense? If ours don’t arrive this will be the third time I have had to go to the Wembley ticket office with two young kids, it really enhances the fucking day for them

Which may well involve a lengthy queue at the ticket office at Wembley. Which we shouldn't have to be doing. I purchased my ticket 12 days ago; is it so unreasonable to expect it to be here by now?

I like the delay. Gives me much less time to worry about forgetting where I put them!
 
I've got my ticket but it's fucking hilarious seeing people say "Just pick them up at Wembley". It's always easy when it's not yourself isn't it? Now it might not be too much of an issue for those who plan on hanging round the stadium on the day for a few hours, but for those with other plans it's a fucking ballache. If City can't get the tickets out on time then it's they who should be getting called out on it, not the fans who are waiting for their tickets.

BOTM. City’s ticket office is daft, always has been. As for the daft fuckers laughing about it, they are just smug pricks
