One of my concerns is the shutting down of society it'll cause quiet a few deaths in itself, I give it a week and the people who can afford to hoard will start hoarding protecting themselves if imports dry up and shops struggle (Even if they're open).

Nah - I'll just start tapping into the supplies we've already hoarded for Brexit. We're probably one of the best-prepared countries because of that.

Best way to avoid death is to not get sick.

Wash and sanitise hands as if you’ve got OCD.

I would say the best way to avoid death is to not be alive, but each of us have our methods. ;-)

I have OCD, so I am covered there... but there is also a point of diminishing returns to hand sanitising, even to a point of potentially causing actual harm, so as with all things, proper use is key.

I am already ahead of the curve. I have started breaking into people garages to plunder their chest freezers. Very exciting and even cheaper than Lidl.

Loads of frail OAP's live nearby too, which reduces the stress of running low on custard creams and tins of spam.

I'm sorted.

Going to Cuba in April. Part of me hopes they make me stay there for a few more weeks.

Wouldn’t mind staying longer in Spain myself, got a free place to stay.

Applies mid-pandemic when co-infection is an issue, especially for those of us unfortunately in the at-risk population.
