To be fair if that was the case, i'd agree to it and give it them.
Would be quite a funny way to "win the league"

What will be funny is when they start singing about being champions of England, every opposition fan will just reply champions with an asterisk. It will be there wwywyws song sang at every opposition ground.

I think it would be quite difficult for City, or any club, to vote against Liverpool being awarded the title. It would look really bad, churlish and petty. I think we would vote for it, through gritted teeth. And keep reminding them and everyone else that we did.

The way I see it, titles can't be awarded , top four places can't be allocated, neither can Europa League spots, relegations, promotions, because the clubs losing out would go straight to their lawyers.

The only way to keep this out of the courts is to void the season completely, effectively this season didn't happen, file it under act of god.

Considering they tried have us banned from the CL, they setup the petition to have us investigated, they hacked our club, they smashed the team bus and got away with it. I think we would relish voting against that. I know what youo mean though it would be good to rise above that shit, but I hope our owners dont this time, we been too nice
Or completely the other way..
Dodgy free kicks which led to goals(against teams)
Bent Refs decisions..take your picks
Plus ever other team/fans in this country fking detest the c..ts

Fuck them. Don’t think teams are going to agree to be relegated so we shouldn’t agree to hand over the title. Tell them we would do normally but given their record for bottling it we still think we can catch them again!

They would not award it to us so I don't care how petty we look. It's this attitude that has seen us play ball but UEFA and the G14 use under hand tactics against us to take the piss. We can mathematically win it, that's all we have to say.

If the playing field this season was level and Liverpool weren't one of the clubs behind our CL ban, I'd give them the title. But I'm not sure now. A lot of people seem to have forgotten that Liverpool benefitted from many controversial decisions in the first half of the season including the game with City. Think there was a plan to help them win the league.

If they are awarded the title, it will be without any significant records borken. Which is fine with me.
I'm hoping it needs 100% of the other 19 teams to grant them the title. Hopefully City will say, we'll let you know AFTER the CAS decision, bet UEFA would have a sudden change of mind.

If it starts again after April 3rd... very unlikely I know.. our next match is the dippers at home and 3 points for them wins them the league

The problem is that apparently the PL don’t have any rules covering this situation. There’s absolutely nothing that says the season should be voided in these circumstances. So that option is just as likely to result in court action as any other.

Average points per game?

So a club maybe relegated without the benefit of the rest of the games being played? With the obvious financial implications?

The only logical way out is to void the whole season, this has become serious shit, not just in footballing terms but for the country as a whole.

having said that wetherspoons will be having field day with all the extra people on the slurp who are on the Pat & Mick!

Against one club, Liverpool, as they are the only one with a stake in that scenario. If they start relegating, promoting teams etc. there's going to be 10+ clubs bringing legal action.

Spot on, we won't help them get the title without guarantees from the cartel that the CL ban won't happen.

What's this ridiculous talk of taking pity on Liverpool and letting the poor little scousers have the title?? Why? Because they are only six points from actually winning it? Because they haven't won it for thirty years?? Tough shitr!! Does anyone think they would be so magnanimous if the situation was reversed? Not a chance!
