I agree. I can’t believe people are bothered whether a team wins a league or not. It’s just totally irrelevant currently. Is football really that important?

As for the message that bloke has posted, it is clearly tragic for them but he is wrong about not knowing what is coming. We actually do know what’s coming.

My concern currently is whether my mum will still be alive in 6 months and whether I’ll still have a job.

What’s the score on gigs? Surely they are not ideal in terms of gatherings. The experts pretty much admitted yesterday that being in close proximity indoors is worse than outdoors. I haven’t see anything about gigs being cancelled.

Got an email yesterday trying to flog me tickets for Lady Gaga at the spurs stadium in July. Are these guys for real? I genuinely can’t see how they can put them on sale. What, 60K people jammed together for 2 hours? It’s even closer proximity than the footy!

Non league is still going on though, so will many go and watch some games to get a football fix.

Locally droyslden, stalybridge, ashton uinited and radcliffe town are all still playing in Manchester tomorrow

Truly hope your mum stays well and healthy my friend, I am absolutely sure you are keeping a keen eye on her. My father in law is 87, fit an well for his age bless him, love him to bits. Me and the missus finally got through to him to let us shop online for him or get the stiff for him. My daughter just come back last weekend from Italy precautionary self isolating she couldn't have it on her our conscience if she infected him even though she's fit and healthy. I certainly think that this week’s measures fall far from short of what I would do.
They say you can’t close schools due to health workers then staying at home to look after their own kids.
Why not do the same as Belgium and offer free crèche and child mind facilities for all health workers?
Cheltenham going ahead is a complete piss take.
This will hit soon and hard, IMO, due to a slow reaction and a large amount of the public who think they are invincible

The FA had considered getting the England players together if friendlies with Italy and Denmark were postponed later this month. However, there is now no meet up or training sessions planned despite the games being cancelled because of the coronavirus.

You sound surprised? This is the FA you are talking about. I’m sure they considered a warm weather training camp in Italy as another alternative.

The Government must feel they have a good plan.
I just think they are missing the opportunity they were given by seeing what was happening 2 weeks before it hit here. That’s two fucking weeks wasted, not by me though

For context, it is supposed to be on the same day football is resumed and we play dippers.

Vinny's last game for us was lifting the FA Cup.

David's will be lifting the League Cup.

That's how legends should bow out.

A lot of my work over the years has involved containing/minimising contamination, I’m just looking after myself and those close to me.
