I agree. I can’t believe people are bothered whether a team wins a league or not. It’s just totally irrelevant currently. Is football really that important?

As for the message that bloke has posted, it is clearly tragic for them but he is wrong about not knowing what is coming. We actually do know what’s coming.

My concern currently is whether my mum will still be alive in 6 months and whether I’ll still have a job.

This is too true.

Yeah it is tempting and a bit of fun to take the mickey out of the scousers possibly not winning the league.

But really in this situation football and football rivalry is irellevant compared to the crisis around us.

My main concern is my health, my families health and people getting the best possible help to get through this.

Football is not an important focus at the momment.

I don’t understand why there is such a scramble to say one competition is more valuable than the other.

Everything else will get delayed and this current season will finish, albeit late.

The simplest answer for ALL is to do it chronologically and rejig what happens when we know the effect of the virus.

That's why we need some herd immunity. If it mutates to a worse form, we are well and truely are screwed.
It already mutated in China to a worse form but as far as I understand WHO bulletins that form hasn't yet escaped China.
A vaccine may or may not be available by July but failing that blood plasma from those who recover can be used to minimise the severity of any outbreak. During Spanish Flu it reduced the death rate by 50% where this technique was used

Absolutely Shocking if this pans out,my wife has underlying issues bronchitis and one lung not working on full capacity,it’s worrying to say the least..

Listen mate I’m sounding a bit callous here but there’s more to worry about than sky tv but I’ll be letting them know that tomorrow when I ring them.if they can’t cancel/postpone my sky sports I’ll just tell them to cancel the lot then get my direct debit to them stopped far more important things to worry about as in people dying ffs ..I’m also self employed if people don’t want me in their houses ( painter and decorator) then I’m certainly not going to be giving sky money I can’t afford too..
