But the press/media statement isnt true is it. Karen Brady has come out and said season should be null n void. That's just one club but I bet other clubs arent in favour of just 'giving' them the title and every thing that's goes with that.
Little old me is against just 'giving' them the title. If it happens the title in most people's eyes isnt real. Liverpool are hitting bad form lost 4 out of the last 6 , City could catch them (lol) , with it not being mathematical save.
Any other club I would be more relaxed about it but the horrible club that is liverpool. Hacking, coach attack, head hunting our staff abuse of Sterling, behind our 'ban' no f**k them is call karma. Null n void .

This season never started start again next from 2018/19 positions

Promoting Leeds and West Brom is unfair on the rest of the teams chasing promotion in the championship. A quick look at the table and QPR in 13th have still got a reasonable chance of making the play offs. What ever way you look at it, neither scenario is fair. I do agree that not giving the title is to Liverpool is harsh, but they haven’t won anything yet, anything CAN still happen, that is the point. If they’re giving Liverpool the title, they need to relegate three teams in the prem.
 
Maybe the rest of the season should be played on FIFA. Each team could nominate a player and they could play online, with the matches shown on sky and BT.

If this had happened exactly two years ago I would have been outraged if City hadn’t been given the title

you would be happy with being 'given' the title instead of winning it ?

personally I would prefer to win the title, and IF it was 'given' to City the press would never of recognised it and would say that utd would have caught us !
 
If city and Liverpool were joint top or just a couple of points in it, they wouldn't be saying just give the title to Liverpool.
They can't make rules up based on how many points clear a team are.
If it was fair to just hand them the title, then why didn't they just do it when they got to 15 points clear and say just scrap the rest of the season because they are going to win it anyway
 
I still cant help thinking that the plan was to get Liverpool as clear as possible as quickly as possible, to dishearten the chasers and put Liverpool in a strong place once they ran out of gas. Obviously I don't been the powers at be knew of Cornavirus , but just remember how this season started out. That's why I say you cant given it to Liverpool as that was the plan from the start by using or not using VAR. its called karma ! null n void
 
The entire league is geared to serving united and Liverpool;
Look at Southampton and Liverpool, most notably the Van Dick scenario.
I would not be surprised if they did vote to give them the title.
Plus Liverpool will push the media initiative.

Liverpool are going to win the league but as things stand they haven't and the unpredictable nature of sport is what makes it so interesting. When they win the title they'll deserve it, but to award it to them regardless and then have to introduce ground breaking measures to determine the outcome for every other team makes a farce of the whole thing. I don't think any neutrals would consider Liverpool true champions, particularly if the measures taken by the FA are deemed to be to the detriment of the clubs they support.

Up until about an hour ago I was for finishing the season now, awarding European places on current standing, promote the top 3 of the Championship but with not relegation. But that’s absurd, I don’t know what I was thinking - we can’t assume teams would win matches and do the necessary, there are 10 games left.

We will just have to write it off and start again in August, if we are lucky

Have they made the final decision? I read they were considering that but not that they had confirmed
