If anything, you'd think he'd one the season cancelled given they're 2 points about the relegation zone.That Brighton thing doesn’t add up. Why the fuck is he arsed?
If the season does somehow completes, then they will win it. Our points record will probably get beaten. That doesn't really matter, records are there to be broken.
Our "Centurions" monica is much catchier than the "Hundred and somethings". They will be the Buzz Aldrin's of the One Hundred club!
What ever happens, their win this year will have a tarnish to it. It would somehow seem disrespectful to show scenes of dippers celebrating while people have died and businesses going bust.
We will all know it was only completed to allow the golden child their glory. United being the only other team they would have done it for.
So if they had to win it one year (and i still maintain they have run out of steam), then this is the year i would have picked for them to do it.

With world cups and Euros between seasons how are we ever going to get an August to May season again if we complete this one ?
if we scrap FA cup and CL when it resumes so we only have to sort the leagues out then 10 games could be done in 5 weeks, 2 games a week
So if we resumed mid June ( that’s being optimistic) the season would end 2 weeks before it was due to start. In those 2 weeks we would have to give players a break, give them pre season and conduct a transfer window
Do they fuck next season off as it wouldn’t finish in time for Euro 2021 ? Did they not think about that ?

Too many Dipper vested interests in the game for it just to be voided. Even if they have the title awarded, posthumously as the season has died, it will be clear to everyone that, in the end, they didn't win it!
Giving Liverpool the title without finishing the season, would have to mean that all the European (CL and Europa) places are as now, all the relegation and promotion places going down through all the leagues are as now.
The premier league, EFL, and probably the FA would be tied up in litigation by clubs relegated, or denied playoff/promotion probabilities.
It’s so obnoxious that the talk is all Liverpool, yes they would have won it, but to decide just one instance of the multitude of related seasons placing, and potentially null and voiding the rest is just woeful, biased and selfish.
Null and voiding has similar issues, (threat of legal stuff, European places for next year) but at least it’s ‘fair’ ie there is no favouritism to a single club.
I think the only sensible, reasonable and unbiased view, is that the season goes on hold for as long as it takes, and is resumed to finish everything off. Whilst the resumption happens, the future after this season can be mapped out, nothing can be done prior to that, because nobody knows when the resumption (and conclusion) will take place.
Although ‘nothing can be done’, ideas can clearly be discussed.
When the women’s game transitioned from summer>winter they had a small one-off tournament to fill the gap - if the resumption and conclusion pushes into the 20/21 season dates then that would be the best thing to happen, effectively voiding the 20/21 leagues.
all this could be moot , because by the time a resumption happens, many clubs due to financial issues might not exist, effectively ending remaining matches with whatever the default score line is for when a club disappears.

The shithouse also suggests increasing the PL to 22 teams for 20/21 pretty much safeguarding themselves. It’s pathetic and I much preferred him when he was Denzill.
