I'd rather win a third consecutive title than the CL this season.

One at a time, but by fuck, if we were to go on and take a fourth in a row, no bastard could deny Manchester City is a great team.

Dippers would, and media would find a way to devaluing the achievement .

He wasn't rewarded for that and should've been carded.
The penalty was clear and obvious. Stupidity by Aurier.
Bollocks.

That was a foul by Mane. Mane cuts across the defenders kicking leg from behind and initiates contact, preventing the defender from clearing the ball. Given Mane did not make contact with the ball, it's a foul, and he should have been carded for the subsequent theatrics.

Opposite ends of the spectrum on this one. You say Mane initiated contact by getting between Aurier and the ball and being kicked? There's no doubt he was cute and knew well what he was doing. Aurier was slow and he did not have a right to go through Mane to kick the ball, regardless whether mane had touched the ball at that stage. We'll just agree to disagree. To me it was a very obvious penalty and Aurier is no stranger to brain farts.
Big game in 2 weeks lads. Deemed a Title decider by some but we generally find a way to mess it up. May have to double our outgoing brown envelopes to officials. :-) Seriously though, should be a good game. Wonder if Sky will hype it up in any way?

I presume that Happy Man has been royally ( how appropriate for dippers ) fucked off for being true to type.

I can't honestly say that I am surprised regarding your thoughts on the " penalty " issue . Just lucky that it wasn't a decisive decision by the pigmol rep eh ?

We wouldn't have got it, even if reviewed, more likely Sterling or Aguero get booked for simulation.

Just a different wording. Finally you agree.

Mane is such a good player, if he could just stop that blatant cheating.

It's not always that way. What did you think of the Grealish booking at the weekend? I didn't think he'd done anything wrong myself however he deserved a yellow later in the game and at that point should've been sent off but his actual booking was extremely harsh I felt. Granted, that's a free in the middle of the park so wouldn't really influence a scoreline.
Anyway, if you didn't think it was a peno, fair enough but I think you're in a minority. Feeling that Man City wouldn't have gotten a penalty in the same situation doesn't make it less of a penalty. That just highlights poor officiating which I agree Man City have been subjected to a few times. Cost you 2 points to be fair.

Aurier's leg was already swinging when Mane's leg came across from behind. Mane isn't even in his peripheral vision. Aurier didn't see Mane until their legs came together. Not even close to being a penalty.

The only player in all of that who had situational awareness was Mane, who fouled the defender.
