The entire situation is a bit of a laugh to people. Being an idiot must be great for your state of mind though, for everyone else it’s getting more terrifying by the day. How long do we have to wait for Italy to improve?? Complete lockdown for what... 12 or 13 days? And still reporting the figures they are. We have fewer measures in play than them, and a nation that doesn’t realise the disaster coming our way. What has to happen for people to change? How many deaths?
Surely Italy has a much more dense area of Older people which have rocketed numbers ?

The idiots haven't been on full lockdown. They've still allowed people to go to work, visit public spaces, run public transport, stay in hotels etc. China was on full lockdown. Here in Spain we're on a stricter lockdown than Italy. The UK is in a terrible, terrible place.

Never let all the scum that treated last night like new years eve forgot the part they will have played in causing people to die.
On top of the inevitable lives lost I fear for mental health and even people potentially dealing with survivors guilt once the severity of the situation hits home.

I hope that’s the reason. We are tracking their figures very closely so far though. People said there’s a two week delay between implementing measures and seeing the figures reflect them. So there really needs to be an improvement in Italy over the next 2 or 3 days. Perhaps a propaganda news item saying the death of a teenage person with no underlying issues might just shake fxxkers into getting with the program.
I'm all for that now, but tbh it isn't just young people being dickheads either there are plenty of older people doing the same thing. I'd start dishing out beating from the army for any groups out and about personally.

100%. plenty of young idiots granted, a lot I’ve seen out and about have been middle aged people.
