The press, social media, vloggers and bloggers of a Liverpool persuasion, and those that should know better, are all peddling this as a misstep by a universally respected club, with an otherwise unblemished record.

It's a combination of delusion and wilful mendacity that could only be associated with Liverpool FC.

I think finances there are pretty healthy but they're run by shysters. Why spend your own money when you can spend tax payers money?

If they showed a bit more contrition, then maybe people wouldn’t be able to use it so readily as ammo.

I suppose you could say, if you think about it, that all the piss taking they get for it is their fault....

They’ve guaranteed the pay of the non paying staff at their baseball club.

I think part of what we have on them is money related,looks like they are outing themselves so we dont need to

Forcing us the tax payer to pay their non playing staff is an absolute joke, add to this the phone hacking scandal, Klopps refusal to turn up to that FA Cup game when he could, the fans smashing up the city bus a couple seasons back. They are a horrible club that have the media by the balls for some reason. Lets just chuck in then shirts they wore to support a racist.

All this gets swept under the carpet and it pisses me off, but our owners who put money back into football and the local community get demonized...
