Here's what Jurgen Klopp said on Liverpool's Carabao Cup quarter-final after they won a thrilling tie with Arsenal.

"If they don't find a place for us, an appropriate place, not 3am on Christmas Day, then we don't play it," said Klopp.

"You have to think about these things. If you have a fixture list where one team cannot be part of all the games, then you have to think about it. Hopefully it starts at one point, hopefully it starts now.

"We will not be the victim of this problem. We played [on Wednesday] and we wanted to win. If they don't find a proper date for us then we cannot play the next round and whoever is our opponent will go through - or Arsenal will play it. I cannot change that."

We play 3 games over a 6 day period !!

He conveniently forgets they play that many games because his club accepted an invitation to play in a pointless cup in the middle east, for an association which has no bearing on the competitions they play in normally. He also talks about it being good they are looking at the fixtures now, Liverpool knew the likely hood of a fixture clash in August.

Anybody else found it hilarious last night to hear them singing about Liverpool being top of the league after just 10 games and in a different competition? It’s the kind of stuff you’d hear from a newly promoted team punching above their weight not the self appointed European royalty club with such illustrious ‘istree. If it was any other club, I would have put it down to a somewhat amusing self parody.

and he put out a eligible player in a previous round, but the EFL didn't have the balls to chuck them out.

The EFL unfortunately had already set a precedent by not kicking out Blackpool was it,from a couple of seasons ago,for the same problem.

I don't have an issue with it being moved as long as there is no knock on with our fixtures...it could even cause issues in January if they beat Villa & have to play us in the semi.

We however, were told to fuck off re the Chelsea cup game.
