Has anybody heard of anyone actually having these "mild" symptoms? Everyone I've read who had it says it was fucking awful, even if they didnt have to go to hospital.
We don’t know because we’ve not been tested in enough numbers. It’s said that there are people who are asymptomatic despite having it.

For all we know that scratchy throat and slightly tight chest and mild cough a few of us have had over the last six weeks was COVID-19 for some of us. That’s why I’ve worn a mask whenever I’ve been out anywhere, just in case.

I know of a few who have had the virus and one didn’t even know it. It was only a flight back to Australia that ended in a check. Has shown no signs of having it but obviously did.

There are levels to this fucking virus. You get the shitty end of it and it’s not guaranteed to be a nice outcome.

There are a large number of hospitals who aren’t anywhere near running out of ICU beds.

It seems to be that in some areas hospitals are having it tough and are very busy but in others it’s quiet. Very different things going on from borough to borough even if they’re next door to each other.

Could be that he’s in one of the quieter hospitals. They might just keeping him in IC as he’s not improving while they’re quiet and can afford to do that, hopefully it’s that way and he’ll be out come the end of the week.

I hope so.

Myself and my girlfriend have both lost our sense of taste and smell. Prior to that it was headaches, body aches, fevers, general tiredness, etc. Pretty sure we had it.

Reminds me so much of the Dianna scenario, broken arm, lacerated thigh etc, ok but been monitored, taken to icu, denials, I really fear the worst. Praying to be wrong.

He's just the over the way from No.10.
They'll have definitely already had something set up for him. Probably since he contracted it.

Absolutely all the best wishes for the guy right now, really hope he fully recovers and is back with his family and in society soon. Serious stuff, escalated pretty quicly. Thoughts with him and his family.

Have to admit that i'm having similar thoughts myself, i genuinely hope this is not the case.

What happens it if you have it bad,it gets to a point where you think oh i feel a bit better today, then bang a second go at you,it is this point of inflammation that causes some peoples immune system to go into overdrive and takes then into ventilator territory, this is a nasty nasty illness

Yes, Hancock for one.

Personally I’ve heard of 4 people having it, 3 friends of the Mrs and I and my mates grandad.

My mates grandad unfortunately died.

One of our friends was in hospital for a night but was okay, she’s 30.

And the other two stayed at home and were relatively okay. The woman was in bed for two days and said her breathing was bad, her husband just had a bad cough and fever. They were too 30 and caught it off the woman who was in hospital.

We had to self isolate as we met the above couple after the incident but after 14 days of doing so, had no symptoms.

The numbers at this stage are horrendous. It's likely he won't be fit for ages. Crisis is not the word.

Please take this as a moment to reflect on how we can be good to each other and get through the next year.
