Ouch. I always thought he was superb (on the ball) maybe I just watched City games where he had a blinder?

He totally turned it round with hard work and endevour. The amount of times he bailed us out with winning goals was unbelieveable. We would not be in the position we are in now without his goals dragging us kicking and screaming through the divisions.

I just don't understand where you get over rated from in regards to the goat as absolutely no one rated him in the beginning what so ever. I don't think there is a single player who has changed opinion as much as the Goat has.

He cost 360K and scored over 100 goals for us and you think he is over rated? What more could you possibly want out of him? His 3 goals against United alone were worth more than what we paid for him.
We actually made money on what we paid for him, when we sold him. I can't think of any other 30+ year old that we have sold and made money on.

His impact and contribution for our club in under rated imo. If anyone deserves cult status, it is the goat. He might not have been the most elegant footballer we have ever had, but he us arguably the most important imo.

Overrated on here? If so, Name any kid who had a big reputation at youth level that was sold after minimal appearances and have since gone on to do fuck all in their careers. There’s been dozens and dozens of them in the last decade. We’ve produced the rags of 92 from our academy every year for the last 10 years according to some.

Away from the kids, Nolito. was pretty clear to me that old Iron Boots was shit from the start but a few tap ins early on had many believing otherwise.
