I’ve cut back massively mate, gone from 5/6 times a week doing a different discipline to running 3 times in a fortnight, won’t use the bike as if something goes wrong I’ll have to get someone to pick me up and not chancing that.
I think I and the majority out there have been as courteous as possible, I know I’ve avoided all contact with absolutely anyone. I get closer having to do the shopping!!
Good luck with it all when this is all over

impressive

i used to listen to music but I don t now . I listen to the birds and the quiet. It’s lovely

one bit of the run you go over a motorway bridge and the smell of petroleum and diesel is so distinct from the not very busy motorway .

the roads are quiet ( other than the motorway) so it is so noticeable the difference .

the good thing of covid is the air , the water the noise is so much more pleasant

Traffic through Poynton is up a great deal on last week.
Several cunts treating it like Le Mans.

Just watched a documentary on the BBC iPlayer, in the history section for anyone interested, Spanish Flu, 50 million dead.
Let’s all hope the second wave, if we get one, isn’t as bad as it was in 2018!!
Also never heard of James Nevin, Manchester doctor during that time who dealt with it far better than the government of the day did. Tragically took his own life a few years after it was all over.
Caught the last minute's this morning of Dan Snow talking about Dr James Niven, another unsung hero, especially for Manchester.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Niven.

This should deter the clowns from breaking the lock down[edit] restricted measures, and appreciate people who have to work for our benefit.

Sections that feature Dr Niven.
14min-18min.
24min-26min
38min-40min 30.
51min-53min.
