While out on my one daily exercise crossed with picking up prescription, I was surprised to see so many people milling about (people in their late 60's, 70's) and road traffic was pretty damn high during work hours, it was like a sunny weekend day FFS. Lock down will last much longer as it isn't sinking in for many.
The older generation are some of the worst, think it’s great that fewer people are outdoors so they are taking advantage. Fucking lunacy.

Hopefully, when there's a huge fall in cases, the 'lockdown'/restrictions on people's way of life won't be ended but eased instead. So no Cheltenhams or mass gatherings any time soon, pubs and clubs still closed, queues to get into shops still, social distancing still practiced at all times, face masks worn on public transport etc. We shouldn't ever go back to normal unless there's a vaccine that's been developed or herd immunity has been established.

Honestly think we are nowhere near peak as of yet and we are in for the long haul here fighting this.

The issue facing them and us is what happens once we are all let out again?

Right now id say we infect each other and that is why the lockdown will continue.
Landlord of my local has told me he’s been advised by suppliers to order for beginning of may, amounts for two day week. Reckons he’ll be allowed to open weekends.

Would really like to like but the missus manages the catering and social club at a NPL club they aren't getting ready for either football or functions anytime soon. Beer in cellar going out of date with no chance of getting shut of it.

What is it with some landlords and their need to chat shite?
I’ve met loads of them like that. It helps nobody spreading false information. Dickheads.
Hope springs eternal, I guess. Any suppliers I’m speaking to think it will be July at the very earliest. Pubs will be about the last thing to be relaxed.

I fear they are jumping the gun somewhat. Deaths in germany are still rising.
From the BBC: German health minister Jens Spahn suggested there could be “a gradual return to normality” after Easter if the current positive trend in numbers continues.

Landlord of my local sold all his stock to regulars....ie boxes of bud, stella etc.
And it's a pub chain,so they ain't ordering fuck all.

My mrs is on maternity leave and returns to work in June. Assuming our boy still can’t be looked after by grandparents, what exactly are we supposed to do? We can’t work from home and look after a baby. Both are full time jobs. Would be easier if he was older and could be placated with an iPad all day but at his age we don’t have that luxury! Anyone in that situation now? How are you dealing with it? Can my mrs be furloughed to look after our son or is that not a possibility?

Lancashire police have also caught the two men spotted on CCTV licking their hands and smearing them all over fruit & veg, packs of meat and fridge door handles in a Sainsbury's.

Should be forced to change bedding in hospitals as part of their punishment. Get them front line, they won't think it's funny then.
should be given a £10k fine and five years inside, might make others think twice.

I feel like it’s way too early to be considering that for most countries. Germany might be slightly different with fewer infections.

but countries like Italy and Spain are talking about it. Still 600/700 dying a day in those countries. I think they are trying to prioritise the economy, but the obvious risk is more people get infected when restrictions are lifted. A difficult balancing act

Looks like the USA are charging people on terrorism charges for attempting to spread the virus....1 man charged with it for spitting and coughing on a copper.

2 charged sorry.....1 guy in Texas claimed on facebook he paid people to spread it in supermarkets.........USA classing it as a "Biological weapon"
