Think I have it now, so for example 5th march had 2 allocated to it on 7th April and 1 more yesterday.OK it easy really, each colour represents the declared fatalities on the specific day. Each day the numbers are updated to show the actual day of death. So for example, at 2pm yesterday they announced that 140 people had died in England. But today that value is corrected to 496. Now each day that value will continue to be corrected as the death certificates are received until eventually the value becomes stable. 24th march looks like an accurate value now. 3rd of April is still being corrected up each day.
And todays reported total allocated 356 onto yesterdays 140.
