My PS4 was a good six or seven years old and making a hell of a racket so I went on YouTube and watched a video as to how to take it apart and clean it. Was amaze how clean I got it and how much crap came out of it.

anyway, long story short, I went and bought a new PS4 later this morning. It’s a great deal quieter.

Just to point out guys!

Was interested in getting odyssey but not that price last week! Especially as I didn’t finish origins.

Just gone on to PlayStation Store and the deluxe edition is now only £19.99 rather than £66.99 absolute bargain! Includes the game and deluxe pack mainly just armour pieces and weaponry.

Downloading it now :)

Also the ultimate edition which includes all of those plus assassins creed III remastered is now only 39.99 instead of 91.99 bargains on there

Best deal on Odyssey on PS4 that I know of right now is Argos for £17.99 and then the PSN season pass (which includes AC III) for £13.19. Thirty quid or so, under if you top up with PSN credit via cd keys or the like. Hope that helps someone.

Suggestions for straight forward football management type games for my kindle fire PLEASE
Cant get too bogged down with tweaking training regimes constantly etc. (Like Football Manager i guess)
Just nice n simple that i can pick up put down as and when i feel like it

Well there’s three levels of Football Manager.

-Football Manager on PC with all the bells and whistles. The detail now must be excruciating tbh.
- Football Manager Touch - Which sounds a bit like what the PC version was 10 years ago. So still very detailed.
-Football Manager Mobile - A slimmed down version designed to be played on phones or tablets. I’d have a look into this one and see if it fits the bill.

-Football Manager on PC with all the bells and whistles. The detail now must be excruciating tbh.
- Football Manager Touch - Which sounds a bit like what the PC version was 10 years ago. So still very detailed.
-Football Manager Mobile - A slimmed down version designed to be played on phones or tablets. I’d have a look into this one and see if it fits the bill.

The touch version is also available on tablets and the Nintendo Switch.

Does that imply it didn't work when you put it back together? Or it wasn't much quieter? Tempted to take mine apart to clean it, but I believe you need a torx head, and mine at at work.

Ha. I did everything as it said and put it back together perfectly. Then when I turned it on, it made the beep noise and the light lit up and then it immediately went off again. So repeated the process of taking it apart and putting it back together two more times before realising I’d rather pay a couple of hundred quid to not have the hassle and that £ per hour, a PS4 is probably my most cost efficient past time.

Yeah mate. I got a new rig recently and played the first few missions on my old rig which I enjoyed. Playing through some new titles the now before I go back to it. Playing Anno 1800 the now, so Jurrasic World will become the game I tend to play casually.
