No they don't. To destroy the people you have also to destroy the structure. The only way to get rid of the old gang is to smash FFP and the whole machinery created to maintain it. There can be no compromise - no-one can simply argue that they want a more palatable cartel to replace this one. What we must have is a governing body which governs within the law, not one which is forever seeking to pervert the law for the benefit of their friends and themselves.

We will smash FFP and the chambers, we're not going to destroy UEFA the institution.

A king doesn't burn the table because he doesn't like some of the people sat around it, he just hangs them.

Just ask yourself what is going to be left of the regulate everything and poke-their-nose-into-everything UEFA institution.

I can't believe how squeamish some are, wishing to win the case without destroying UEFA. Give your heads a wobble and when they clear just ask yourselves what it is about UEFA that is so valuable we have to put on the kid gloves before we defend ourselves! Is it the UEFA that comes up with a series of unlawful regulations to screw us? Is it the UEFA that changes these rules because they've had to tell us that we'll pass the test and that can't be allowed to happen? Is it the UEFA that chooses to trust the claims of a criminal to justify reopening a non-existent case against City? Is it the UEFA that wants a two year ban and massive fine second time round? Or is it the UEFA that wants the CL to be reserved for the cartel clubs? Wake up and realise that "UEFA" and "cartel" are synonyms. If City win this case, as I fully expect them to, those officials responsible for FFP and the campaign against City, will either have to go (possibly to jail) or remain in office as emasculated jellyfish. UEFA will learn that it has to abide by the law or be swept away.

When we win the case, I envisage Kaldoon sitting back like Michael Corleone at the end of the Godfather, whilst in the background our enemies are being 'taken out' : )

I think the origin of this letter (if it does exist) is from people who have realised that the ban might be suspended for many, many years while it drags through the legal mire, while city continue to go from strength to strength. Our owner is more than happy to make a few lawyers wealthy while UEFA spin their wheels in the legal mud.

We wont destroy UEFA as an organisation, that is not what the club want. Remember Soriano stated he had friends within the organisation and alluded to how UEFA seems to be fractured in how it is governed and its rules enforced - especially when those rules favor the cartel clubs who want to maintain the status quo

All we need to do is win our case and then go after those that have deliberately sought to stop our owners running our club, and have played dirty tricks and have tried to cause untold public image damage - I am sure we know who they all are and have evidence to back it up when the time is right

Quite a lot I think, this will just give them the opportunity to disband the IC & AC and hopefully replace them with something fit for purpose.
What purpose though?
Leave them with a scapegoat eg Platini then carry on as normal simply renaming the 2 chambers with something including ",fair" and "justice" .
I am certain we have friends within UEFA but they will continue to be overuled by those who control its skewed purpose.

If the AC & IC do go (it seems more and more inevitable to me) then quite a few heads will roll too. It won't be as simple as a 'renaming job'. We'll have to wait and see what the landscape looks like later.

if we do win,i can see one of the conditions being we are allowed people on the boards that have the power,if this is allowed then we will let them carry on as normal,if this isn't allowed we will go after the lot,i think the first option would keep everyone happy

First option is a step to joining the cartel

why would city's board want to dismantle something that protects the"elite" if we were to become part of the "elite" doesn't make business sense, our owners aren't angels they are business men after making money.

If they wanted to get rid of FFP they would have legally challenged it at any point in the last 10 years.

Our owners want what every top club wants, FFP to protect them from new competitors emerging whilst we turnover so much that it doesn't actually effect us, and that's where we are in 2020.

But can you trust them?
Of course not.
They did everything they could to prevent the business plan developing and have made it plain we are not welcome.
When ADUG overcame their best efforts surely they will not concede, they even are prepared to sacrifice UEFA as an Organisation to preserve their cartel of corruption.

City are not owned by a bunch of gangsters and are not interested in joining any elite of the kind we see today. City are not like the other pygmies arguing about the size of slices of cake dished out from an increasingly debt ridden, static cake. City have a vision of CFG at the heart of football and entertainment in many of the world's major cities. FFP is the current attempt to block this and it's failing, but UEFA and the cartel will be back causing any problem they can. Only when the power of UEFA and the cartel to frustrate growth and progress has been broken and we have a governing body responsible for the running of the purely sporting side of the game and respecting the law, not telling the lawmakers what the law should be, free from the malevolent influence of the club plants to make sure UEFA safeguards only their interests, will City be satisfied. This is a world away from a view which sees an elite, maintained by a corrupt governing body, as essential to financial rather than sporting success. City are quite capable of looking after themselves - as the last 12 years show.

As CAS has released a notification that our case will not be heard until after June. Looks like we will be in for along wait. I do remember quite a few years ago, of one team being suspended from all European Comps. This club put an appeal in, and were allowed to continue in European Comps until the hearing was heard and the result released. However I cannot remember the club involved. It mat have been an Italian club.

genuinely think the easiest option for UEFA is us being allowed to play in Europe and then having our appeal be successful

Let us play and we are then banned - they are sued by whoever was denied the chance to play in Europe

don’t let us play and we win the appeal - we sue them

of course we could also not be let in and have our appeal fail, in which case UEFA would also be off the hook (for a while)

I claim my £10 as I say you are really Martin Samuels.
