Yes,i think we have put too much stock in immunity, too many assumptions made on the back of other virusesAntibodies can sometimes only last a short while - that would make passporting awkward
Precis,at this time of night? I should have tabbed to the end. Basically I can see actually see data that shows where the Govt gets its figures re 14 days isolation , etc.. It's not just all made up like I'm sure some thinkWhat was the gist mate.

And we should be imo, I know my life has not been impacted like other peoples and I am pretty much going about my business as normal, with added precautions obviously.
I get up, go to work, deliver food supplies, spend all day rubbing myself with anti-bac wash, clock off and come home, walk the dog, cook tea and play on PC all night and that is my sad life 24/7.
I can't imagine what it feels like to be caged in a block of flats for instance, I guess it must be hard due to all the people willing to break the rules to get out at all opportunities.
The common cold is one of the Coronavirus. We have not produced a vaccine yet. Herd immunity is the only way. Our chief scientific officer let the cat out of the bag months ago -as long as the NHS is not over whelmed we can cope. It's only this. Alas this thing will run it's course and we can only mitigateYes,i think we have put too much stock in immunity, too many assumptions made on the back of other viruses
We , or anybody else for that matter aren’t staying locked down until we have a vaccine.
We have it easy here. I have a friend who lives in Tenerife and her three kids haven't left the apartment in about six weeks, maybe longer. Not even allowed out for a walk or exercise which I think is draconian and mentally unhealthy.
One of my friends who is also a colleague lives in Madrid at the weekends and here in Zurich during the week. he is also well in the vulnerable group. He's not been out of his small 1 bed apartment in Madrid for 7 weeks! We have a weekly video conference as we wait for our company to fold, we are all on furlough right now. He is slowly loosing his mind. One of the smartest guys I know and he's going Gomer Pyle.
It's just wrong. Take Tenerife. Without all the tourists they could do an hour or two out of their apartments as there is a lot of space. Many live in small spaces with just a tiny balcony. There would be mutiny here.
Not many thin young people in the mortality statistics without some other comorbidity.
We have friends in Spain and I believe it is a really heavy fine if you are caught out and about with no good cause, also you are to go directly to the nearest supermarket even if it isn't the one you use normally or again you will be nailed to the floor.
Maybe not so bad if you have a solarium or a roof terrace with shade but probably few and far between for normal family homes.
It will be mental torture for a lot of people, no doubt about it.
Tosser'ckin Ada.
He's been largely absent from the management of the crisis due to his illness.
But he was the responsible for his Government doing nothing in the three weeks prior to lockdown when we the UK had the benefit of hindsight at what was going on 'over there' to 'Johnny Foreigner'.
That inaction alone is responsible for most of the deaths occurring now.
But the media and the establishment have his back.
And you're grovelling to him.
The UK has had pandemic preparedness policy documents and they revolve around herd immunity according to this. The common cold is one of the Coronavirus. We have not produced a vaccine yet. Herd immunity is the only way. Our chief scientific officer let the cat out of the bag months ago -as long as the NHS is not over whelmed we can cope. It's only this. But they’re not are they, it’s quiet as fuck pretty much everywhere.Or an army of new cyclists and dog walkers the streets are busier than they have ever been.
Can you imagine what he’d be saying if the lockdown had started 3 weeks earlier? Just looking to blame anyone.Tosser
Keeping our Distance yes. Not restarting the economy, no chance.I don't see anything opening anytime soon. Nadine Dorries let the cat out of the bag by saying as much, that until a vaccine is created we remain locked down. When this was greeted with alarm she backtracked a bit.
