Season ticket payments - refunds/credits due by June 19th

You can phone up and ask for a refund.
The club won't do anything until we officially can not go to games
Regarding season tickets that's correct. It can't. The major problem I suspect is the SeatGeek system. As far as I'm aware, if you fail to pay for a season ticket within a certain time (or refund one) that season ticket is cancelled. I've said this before but I think that if you fail to pay the last DD and it's cancelled, they you won't automatically get a refund when that happens and legally the club has no need to do so under the terms and conditions.

Therefore unless SeatGeek implement a major system change, everyone refunded the pro rata portion of their seasoncard would probably have to have it reinstated manually if they did renew. So refunding now then finding out the season will finish later in the year would be a major logistical issue for the club.

That would apply even if the PL said they were cancelling this season & starting a new one in September or October.

Fans deciding not to renew their season tickets will not harm the club. Queues of City fans will replace them. They will not be missed. But they will miss watching City becoming one of th biggest clubs in the world!!!!!
I think a lot depends on how the club manage this, if for example the club while still in lockdown even maintain current prices and ask people to renew shortly for "next season" That will be a hard sell for a lot of people, indeed I would assume if you get in via credit many people simply won't be able to renew(I'm lucky that it's not something I have to do), because they are currently not working.

Now if renewal is when there is some idea when next season is(and by next season I mean the next we can actually attend not one that's being played out without anyone), you might be right, although I think gates are going to take a hit everywhere next "real" season, but making any kind of prediction on anything right now is at best optimistic guess work.

so potentially thousands of loyal city fans who’ve been going for years won’t be missed?? People who are scared to attend, with health issues or financial problems.... the people that make the club what it is and without the match day experience will be very different

I’m going to have to give up my season ticket because of financial issues but oh well who cares....

And of course loads of fans will be there to replace us. All those new fans will pop up in an economic crisis

bizarre way of looking at it. Very ignorant and condescending. Alright jack

Don't know where you get your "thousands" from. Just few dozen have complained blaming City for the present situation. Those are the ones I'm thinking of when I posted. Refunds will arrive when the PL decides which way they are to go. You are looking at it the way you thought I was. I wasn't!

I can't see there being any crowds at football next season. Toilet facilities will be a massive problem as flushing urinals and toilets causes aerosol and as far as I am aware the virus can be present in urine and faeces.

If the system is so rigid it won't refund people who missed the last 10% but still are owed 21.4% how will it cope with a season that will never start?

I reality it is a piece of piss for any object based programmer type person to ensure everyone who missed one payment gets the rest refunded without going into individual accounts. It is like when they won't let you swap seats, after a year or two of excuses someone does in in 1 minute for you.
