Can't blame them, tests would cost £140k, players furloughed would have to start being paid again, no club income, there'll be championship and league one teams in much the same boat.

football without fans reminds of mate at school his dads job was to find away to sell beer other than in pubs that was back in 70's, the idea was still make money but no overheads ie no pubs,staff,fixtures n fitting and hassle it took a while but supermarkets and off licences open 24hrs job done sell more booze now and you ruin your own surroundings, football could go same way think of it ,no hassle on match days no crowds police food drink ticket sales staff but rake in same if not more money from tv audience

Easy for broadcasters to CGI fans in to the stadiums. Bet the bastards still leave us with the most empty seats !

Strange tho. Not sure i'd want to see him finish his city career, on a TV, in an eerily quiet stadium, in nothing more than exhibition games with unfit players and questionable rules brought in. All in the name of money. Would be a sad end.

And the difference from a normal City home game is ?

Quiet Stadium is the norm ?
Exhibition game is the norm when teams come and sit back ?

There is one space in the football league with 91 clubs so the top team in the GM Vauxhall can be promoted still, and their season ended weeks ago.

The only money league 2 will get now is if they get it from Sky for the play-offs and. 1,400 players out of contract in league 1 and 2 and very few being offered new deals and all clubs in financial difficulty so they need a season ending boost.
