No-one needs to be held accountable. Signing Bernardo was an excellent decision.Having also just signed Bernardo to supplement Sterling and Sane. It’s similar to when people demonised Sturridge for looking elsewhere when Hughes was selecting Ched Evans and Caicedo ahead of him - players of a certain talent rightly back themselves, and it’s the coaches who don’t facilitate a clear pathways for them that should be held accountable.

Sometimes things weren't meant to be. At 17, Sancho just wasn't good enough to be playing regularly for us at senior level.
sturridge was an arrogant twat who was a bench player at all the clubs he went to! Talented? Absolutely but huge ego and not a team player.
Even in Bernardo’s best season last year, he got 7 goals, 7 assists;
Even in Bernardo’s best season last year, he got 7 goals, 7 assists; David Brooks - another of our academy products - got the same for a vastly inferior Bournemouth team, in his first season in Premier League.
Sancho wouldn’t have expected to play regularly at 17 - just begin his integration without 4 £50m signings ahead of him.
Assuming you didn’t see him in his first two and a half seasons for Liverpool then?
He went on loan to Bolton from Chelsea - scored 8 in 11.
Went back to Chelsea - scored 11 in 28 games as a right winger at the age of 22.
Signed for Liverpool in January 2013 - scored 10 in 11 starts.
The next year he scores 21 in 26.
The following 2 seasons are injury ravaged - yet he stil scores 4 in 7, and 8 in 11 league games.
Sturridge was an elite striker before injury curtailed his career, and has always shown respect to the club since; the resentment towards him from a fanbase that idolises the mercenary clown Balotelli, who was given every opportunity to play for the club yet decided to engineer his move away on the cheap by starting a fight on the training ground - undermining the boss and our title defence in the process - is strange.

mask slipped now mate!
The comparison between Bernardo and Brooks was was enough for me to stop reading.
BT blowing smoke up Sancho's rear end at the moment .
Billy big bollocks syndrome, he is angling for his move. His head has been turned by the rags.An embarrassing performance for him, IMHO. No idea if he is coming off an injury or not but twice in a row that Favre has started him on the bench. Judging from how lazy he was in that 2nd though, would appear to be in the doghouse for good reason

It has been plain to see however this season that his attitude has changed. Favre has benched him on more than one occasion for these reasons. He's coming back from a calf injury. Only started training 10 days ago and only played 20 minutes of football.
But I guess that gets in the way of the "billy big bollocks" conspiracy theory so feel free to ignore these facts to suit your agenda.

What has his goals and assists got to do with anything? that is a whole other argument anyway. Was I a gem of a person?, perhaps not but I turned up to work on time if you really want to use that as some sort of weird comparison.Yet he's still got double figures for goals and assists? Why are people so quick to criticise the lad, were you a gem of a person at 19/20? Everyone instantly jumps to attitude issues especially with young black players who show confidence on pitch. He was benched by Favre for coming back late from International Duty and he agreed with the team it was the right punishment.
