You just confirm what a dick you are

I come from Eccles and Salford and was brought up as a Tory hater.

have voted Labour more often than Conservative.

I voted for Major when he promised a referendum - I voted Blair when he did. Same for Cameron.

Can you see a pattern?

Unlike you - I can think and analyse for myself. I do not have to still behave as my mum and dad told me.

so you say ..... however what you post doesn't represent that

There is perhaps a possibility that you have a rather narrow view of what you think a Labour voter should be like? The fact that vast swathes of the working class labour vote gave Boris a whopping majority at the GE shows you are not alone.

Bloody Socialists eh .... always wanting to make lives better for people .... what are we like?

Because you are unable to think with any objectivity and thought - IMO

That is the truth - which is probably why it does not sit right with you

So test - do you know the Winton, Eccles, Salford area.....?

If you think I am lying - shall we trade knowledge?

You are possibly equating socialism with liberalism. I'm not saying the two are mutually exclusive by any means, but they also don't necessarily go hand in hand. Your socialist church is a broad one.

It is .... but I think (after Covid19) we can see that however good the 'Economy' is .... the majority of the UK is two payslips (at best) from being hungry.

Making lives better for others is not solely the ideology of Socialists.

YOU think you know what is best for people, others disagree with your methods and regard socialism as more detrimental than beneficial, which can be argued for and against, but to believe socialism is the "One true answer" to societies issues is foolish.

Strange, however, as the issue about EU membership is neither a Socialist, Conservative or Liberal issue, yet you keep trying to make it one. Pigeonholing people to create a "good vs evil" narrative in which you portray yourself as the "moral" stance.

You're desperate to be seen as the "right stance" yet for some reason, the majority of the country disagrees with you. Maybe you should move to a country more suited to your perceived ideological mindset? Clearly this one disagrees with you.

You just confirm how utterly blinkered you are.. Unable to think beyond your own very narrow prejudices.

Not everyone is so bigoted as you.

Do they know that?

Saw this article this morning and it made me smile:

https://www.thenational.scot/news/1...s-urging-barnier-prioritise-brexit-extension/

Just think - it is only a few months ago that the sycophants at Westminster indulged themselves with their undermining of the UK's negotiating position on a daily basis - oh how they must miss those days and regret the decision to go for a GE.

I wonder what Barnier's reaction was/will be?

"Oh - I so miss those halcyon days when I could just get you to implement my wishes...."

"Where is Dominic Grieve? I so miss him"

Or will it be more like:

"Why the fuck do you think you are relevant at the moment?"

Talk about a stuck record.

Yeah, we know you won, but what about the price of fish, and every foodstuff if there's no deal?

I'm not sure you have the capacity to understand the impact of the Agriculture Bill.

Another article that brought a wry smile:

https://www.theneweuropean.co.uk/to...u-deal-and-expect-longer-transition-1-6657571

The headline is:

"A new poll has revealed three quarters of British people want a trade deal with the European Union, and the majority are expecting Boris Johnson to extend the transition period in order to seek a deal. "

Hard to get the real detail - but it seems a deliberately loaded question being used to mis-represent public opinion and seek to bring pressure to bear.

On any and every day this year, if asked, I would have replied that I want a trade deal with the European Union.

On most days of this year - until very recently - if asked, I would have replied that I was expecting the transition period to be extended - not that I want that

There is a whiff of desperation in the air and all the bleating is coming from one side - which I suggest is telling.

Not often we've heard you bleat ....which bit of ... they wont allow us to have anything which reduces / diminishes the benefits of being a member of the Eu dont you get? Because that would mean the breakup of the Eu cos theres no point.

Your failure to post on the Covid19 .. Political discussion thread speaks volumes as well

The fact you're promoting that cancerous thread speaks volumes as well.
