the death toll, hospital and infection rates are dropping significantly
Not necesarily you are more likely to have PPE in an icu whereas you will be interacting with other staff not wearing ppe in the canteen.
So only London and the midlands are below 7 and as such the only 2 really that should be easing lockdown, the north east certainly isn't looking like it should be changinng anything
I do mate.Fuck me!!
Ok you take your stats and spend a day in icu while I have a bacon roll in the canteen
The French aren’t exempt from quarantine. Whoever asked that is way behind the news. It was changed last week so only lorry drivers and covid 19 workers (whatever that means) are exempt. Everyone else will be quarantined.Questions, written due to technical issues
R higher in the north, easing lockdown by region ? A country wise approach
Why are the French excempt from quantene (sp) bringing in the rule to keep R rate down, boris and French are in discussions, plans will be laid out in the coming days
Media
Test track and trace in place for schools but June 1? Safety is paramount, small class sizes etc, that is how we will keep kids and teachers safe, didn't really answer the questions
Some regions will not be opening schools, are you concerned ? Discussions ongoing PPE,tests and hosp beds? PPE still a challenge ,testing all patients and staff with and without symptoms,at no time were the nhs overwhelned, plenty of spare capacity
Uk able to produce vaccine? See above,by Sept 30 million will be able to be made
Airline industry, heath of the nation came first, must keep the R down
Language and cultural differences, how is contact tracing working for them as they are high risk communities? Paying attention to the barriers in those communities, recruitment will cover those issues, risk assessment for nhs staff in the black and ethnic communities
Some answers didn't really answer the questions
He also said we might never find a vaccine, that is coming from everyone,we are making it now so if it turns out to be safe and effective we have it ready to go,props to Astra for taking the risk on itWe still don’t have a clear answer to the question, I’m not sure what the way back to normal life will be.
oxford have started to develop a vaccine that looks really promising, that’s what I’ve taken today from the briefing :))

Not a cat in hell’s chance before 2021.
They’ve only just tested that it doesn’t kill monkeys!
So if that data from the ONS is unreliable is it then the case that all ONS data is unreliable given the QA system is the same?
We won't have a vaccine till next year,we are taking a chance and making what is being tested now but that doesn't hurry up the trials, they go at their own paceFrom what I understood, there will be 30 million doses of this vaccine available in September but they can't be used till the results of the clinical trials with the last one of which being in October. So if all goes well it's likely that the earliest the vaccine will be available to the public is November?

It's posts like this that remind me I should stay off this thread.I'd say the data across the board is manipulated to suit the narrative as needed.
