Only if it’s instant, the time is taking for it to come back, doesn’t mean you’ve haven’t caugh5bit since if it says negative, if you are asymptotic then fair enough but your nit supposed to be going if not showing symptoms unless you are in certain categories.

They are on the way, instant saliva tests should be here in the next few weeks.

It would have been really funny if when the deputy medical officer said 1st slide please..

The operator put up a slide saying not staying at home & travelling 260 miles when self

isolating...

I don't think CDC say that.
They say that it is predominantly droplet transmission
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/how-covid-spreads.html
Airborne transmission and droplet transmission are not considered the same thing as droplets generally travel only short distances through the air.
No one has said that children can't spread it with any serious scientific credentials that I have seen though it is possible that the rates of transmission may be a lot lower than adults.
Yes. Except when you're under a metre away from an infected person is breathing or talking - especially in an enclosed space when aerosol transmission is taking place.

Daily briefing

Total tests 3,348,507

Last 24hrs 116,585

Positives 257,154

Patients in hospital 9,331

Deaths in all settings with positive test 36,675

Up 282

Relaxing restrictions with public transport coming back in use a bit more for those who have to go to work only if you can't work from home, drive, walk or cycle instead

Marshalls will provide reassurance and advice on transport

Work to upgrade stations and lines and fix roads

Park and ride encouraged

Voucher to do up old bikes, really pushing people into walking and cycling

In July we will look at how we can open up hospitality

Medical

Movement of people, parks up,must use social distancing still, compliance good

New cases, confirmed with test, downward trend despite more testing

Hospital patients admissions,steady decline

Critical care patients,steady decline,capacity fine

Deaths,7 day rolling average, continuing to derease

157 England hospital deaths from yesterday Actually 30 that were dated yesterday. Seven from the North West.

Even after two weeks of top ups every day back to May 9 is still sub 200 (and May 8 is only 201)
More people are dying in care homes from it at the moment than in hospitals and they dont collect stats in England over weekends (and probably bank holidays). The QCC dont publish stats so we haven't a clue as to when the deaths occurred.

Can I see my fucking family properly yet?

The CDC is wrong, that goes against everything we know already about picking it up from surfaces as well as close contact to people
So is the WHO as it clearly spreads in aerosol droplets in close contact enclosed spaces. Far too many reports an papers for it not to do so.
They sort of alude to the fact it can spread in this way but wont admit to it as they would lose face.
They may as well admit it as they have totally lost credibility after kowtowing to China so getting some credibility back would show they are science based.

Only if you have symptoms, live over 250 miles away, and are called Dominic Cummings

Can't our dickhead media show any interest in the actual virus, rather than banging on about bloody Cummings. They don't give a shit really about anything other than trying to score points and stick the boot in.

5 'journalists' so far have had the chance to put questions forward and not a single question about anything other than Cummings.
