No mate , i will be listening avidly on the radio to Fred Eyre and company , i just don't want to watch a football match without our supporters getting behind the team , its a neccesary evil for some , but i will give it a miss. But i also used to plan my life around City , my first wedding day on 22/09/79 had to be changed to a morning ceremony when the fixtures came out in the summer , we beat Coventry 3-0 , (needless to say the marriage didnt last :)
Still committed to City , but to be 100% honest i get a bigger kick watching my grandson captain his U-14 team , i miss that more than City , sad to say , in my case the passing of time has slightly dampened my enthusiasm for the Premier league with VAR and the way the Dippers have been handed the title , not forgetting FFP etc etc. But if we eventually shove it up UEFA and win the Champs league , i will die a happy man.

Fair play, had to reply.

I’ve done some “training” by watching some parts of German league games without fans on telly. Still try to figure out why reserve players sitting way away from each other in the stands need to wear mouth covers. And the hunger for the commentators trying to hear what a manager or players shout. It’s all a complete joke.
Obviously City is of far more importance but I doubt I will be able hold my seat in front of the telly.

im really looking forward to it.ive missed city so much its depressing.i may not be able to go but I can still watch the best team in the land with a few beers, just a point are the premier league going to follow aussie rugby league and have some crowd noise played through the speakers.its not the same as real noise but at least it gives some atmosphere

I’m sure if Spanish viewers had any issues with it and complained Netflix would take it onboard - but if you are uncomfortable with Manuel’s treatment write a letter to Netflix and ask for it to be taken down on their behalf. But please don’t, because I like Faulty Towers

But this is for another thread

I'm not uncomfortable with it. It portrayed the views of many British people in the mid 1970s - happy to go to Benidorm for their 2 weeks in the sun but "not eating any of that foreign muck" - and I recognise those were the views of the time. We've obviously moved on a lot since then. I've enjoyed Fawlty Towers as much as anyone but my point was that there is a lot of hypocrisy and double standards from those supporting the BLM "campaign". I fundamentally disagree with players wearing Black Lives Matter on their shirts and I won't be watching.

At this present moment I am not the least bit interested in the game. To be honest I might not even watch it. The whole integrity of the Premier League has been totally compromised. They should have null and void the season.

the one and not reason they didn't do this is ££££££££. They could not afford to repay so that ££££££ back to the broadcaster/s. This may have caused some of the clubs very serious ££££££ problems.
