I have never wanted city to lose a game and never will but a loss tonight would not upset me to much
1) It mutes the vermin celebration
2) It helps Chelsea above the rags
I thought it was quite poignant the way Pep talked about Newcastle being a huge game at weekend with it being the FA Cup, as if he is already prioritising that over tonight. Good lad.

We will never go out to deliberately lose a game.
However listening to Pep’s words, he did give an indication that tonight’s game is of little importance in comparison to Sunday’s FA Cup tie. So I expect him to put out a strange team tonight.
If we win great, If we lose no problem.
Ha, didn’t get as far as your reply before pretty much saying the same in reply to other post. My thoughts exactly.

It’s huge we want that trophy and we want an assault on the champions league in August. Use the next few weeks to get some fitness and form up.

The "body language" where he "chews" his lips up after the question is really obvious.

He is "stopping himself" from saying more.

That tells me he either knows the outcome or has received information that gives him a very good idea of the outcome.

Whether the outcome is good or bad isn't quite clear though.

He clearly does know. The only thing I have heard is that the verdict was going to be first week in July and that must mean a home run for somebody?

Pep confirms here the first week to ten days. All previous information and reports did not specify when in July a verdict would be delivered.

I hope that's true, but whilst I've known Judgments to take months to hand down, I wouldn't have thought one month was particularly indicative of anything. Especially with the need for clarity relatively quickly.

We can appeal to the Swiss courts but really we have little chance of winning by that stage. It will all be a bit desperate and the club's credibility pretty shot. We will just have to move on and deal with it if we lose at CAS.
Even assuming we lose it'll be down to only a balance of probability from one person (I be really shocked if our 'Judge' or Uefa's came down on anything else but their own side.

I'd have thought pushing it further would be a option we'd take.

I don't see how he can truly know, unless CAS is leaking. The debrief he got, tho', may have been so positive that he is ultra confident. All the signs are good. We will triumph.

These quotes from Pep really do ramp up the confidence levels.

"It was just United, Liverpool and Arsenal to win the titles before Roman Abramovich took over. It was uncomfortable for the Premier League. After Sheikh Mansour took over here it was the same. It was - and is - uncomfortable for the 'elite'."

Something so simple yet pointed.
Liverpool?
