You are probably right. Wonder if ECA can exert pressure? Oh, another post captured by G14.

Sadly there is no option available to us other than to just be able to participate without ( further ) hinderance.

As much as many of us would love to see UEFA and the cabal dismantled and crushed , that is not going to happen. But the chance to continue to build/replenshing the team and be competitive will be acceptable to the owner ( imo ) .

The whole rancid set up upsets and frustrates me, and certain visitors who " see no fucking ships " in another thread just pisses me off . Smugness safe in the confines of the protection ring .

We the fans will make a big noise. Watch out Sayed and all you cocks

"...we will just have to see what CAS actually decided when its full judgment is published in September. City's reputation will still be in the spotlight if, as UEFA suggest, only a technicality saved City from the heaviest sanction ever meted out by UEFA's Adjudicatory Committee. City live to fight another day but the club's critics are unlikely to be perturbed for now."

Nothing changes .

If we win then Khaldoon will be giving out some absolute banter during his post season interview. Nothing too strong but it’ll give us all a good chuckle.

There will be a short self congratulatory statement from the club and you won't hear from them on it aside from the end of season chat and a couple of questions for Pep.

There'll definitely be some passive aggressive digs in there too.

This was a case initiated by UEFA, prosecuted by UEFA and judged by UEFA. The Club never wavered from it's belief that an independent panel that impartially considered the body of irrefutable evidence would find in favour of it's position.

Manchester City thanks the Court of Arbitration for Sport for their speedy decision and for maintaining the confidentiality of the proceedings, and looks forward to competing in the Champions League next season.

Hold your horses, let's not get carried away.

Wait till the fat lady is singing and David Gill and Co are running to the hills.

Edited for accuracy.

I don't see how he can truly know, unless CAS is leaking. The debrief he got, tho', may have been so positive that he is ultra confident. All the signs are good. We will triumph.

There has certainly been a lot of positivity coming from Pep this past week or so. Along with the journalist close to Aguero tweeting what he did, the updates Ric and Tolmie gave, and the players hitting the ground running post-lockdown, it’s difficult not to get our hopes up.
BUT....despite all the above, I’m still very cautious. Plus there was also an article that appeared on my City App overnight where Pep was talking about the difficulties the club may face in approaching the transfer window. While it was totally to do with the Covid-19 situation, I think it would be inadvisable to dismiss any possibility that he may also be referring to the ban being upheld.

You use the word predominantly when you should be using the word totally ;-)

They won't repeat that first line. The rest is word for word in the release. Word for word

There is zero chance Pep knows either way, i can't belive you guys think he does, its quite a naive mindset, even if it is just stay positive.

Realistically no one at the club knows at this moment in time. Perhaps they may think it went well, but that doesnt really amount to anything does it?

Anyways, im gonna go spread the joy... haha

No one knows the verdict, but people at the club know how it went.

Our lawyers will know how their arguments were received, and how UEFA's were, by their interactions with the panel of judges, and the direction the hearing took.

So no, Pep doens't know the outcome, but he's not in the dark like us or the media.
