Already looking forward to the new season and seeing how Pep and the boys are going to win it back.

The defending is accounted for because it is expected goals. Perhaps the goalkeeper is not in the equation, but then again Ederson hasn’t made so many mistakes that cost us goals. If they deem a chance as 0.99 that should be goal no matter who the keeper is and is indicative of the player missing a chance. If you look at that link Liverpool had faced multiple high quality chances where the opponent somehow managed to fail.

My rationale behind this is a drop in focus from opponents against Liverpool, whilst they for some reason decide to be more up for it against us.

Look, they're a lot of points ahead of us and we need an overhaul, which may not be possible if things from CAS don't go our way, or due to Covid. It's highly likely that they could move on from us and have new (shitter) challengers from teams who can spend, Chelsea and the rags mainly. The media were saying the same about us in 17/18, so let's just take it on the chin and try and catch up where we can to the smelly ****s.

They will be more of a nuisance than a dominating force, the silver lining of last night is it keeps our chums in Trafford in 5th place. Another season out of the champions league and the hit on covid will put a big dent in their cash flow. The poor mites will be clinging onto us being banned to save them from the firestorm that is about to hit that club.
