VAR says penalty to Liverpool...
1-0 will do. Would love to see the European royalty in the Thursday league with rhe rags
Don't think it would, would it? Liverpool would still go through on the head to head record in that case.
Don't think they will as Salzburg scored at Klanfield
1:0 loss as long as Napoli win will be Thursday night football, pressure time but let's not get to giddy ( var in play)
...don't think so. Salzburg have to beat them by a better scoreline than the one at Everton's reject ground, which was 4-3, so 1 nil would do it as no away goals. The only defeat that would let the scousers through (if Napoli don't lose to Genk) is 5-4 or any score upwards of that with a single goal margin.
its already been proven that European VAR won't do them the same favours as PL VAR... something to do with UEFA making a lot of money from sponsorships on their competitions, as opposed to 500 million plastics in the far east.
I am sure the European Royalty will get all the help they need tonight by the officials if they look like they are in trouble. Ill go 17 minutges for the 1st Mane dive for a penalty
1-0, 2-1 or 3-2 wins for Salzburg mean Liverpool go out as it goes to head to head and Salzburg would go through on away goals scored having scored 3 at Anfield.
If it's 4-3, Salzburg go through on goal difference.
5-4, 6-5 and upwards means Liverpool would go through on head 2 head.
That all relies on Napoli winning.
I will be keeping my fingers crossed that Salzburg turn up tonight and put Liverpool out the competition and dump them in the Europa
The way the scousers are playing it's a big if, but Salzburg stuck 3 past them (i think) at anfield so you never know
