Stop with this bullshit please. We beat Real at Bernabeu with Gundy and Rodri. We played well with them at Anfield too and lost more because of the referees and poor finishing than because of our midfield play.

Anyway, Bernardo will probably start instead of Gundy who played full games against Chelsea and Newcastle..

We lost to Norwich, Wolves home and away, liverpool, Tottenham ect with Rodri and Gundogan both starting together. Its clear to see we lack legs in midfield when they both start. Tonight is a night were we can't afford to be over ran in midfield against a team that have three work horses in midfield. Bernardo and De Bruyne can dictate the game tonight and both can get around the pitch for 90 minutes.

It does appear many of our fans are unimpressed with Gundo, indeed he only seems to perform relatively well as a flat track bully when we play non attacking opposition. And when he plays alongside Rodri little seems to happen.

Tonight we are not playing surrender merchants so this would be the perfect time for him to come out & tear livarpool apart & therefore justify the managers choice !

Definitely not watching this on sky this evening , it will be an absolute wankfest of dippererness , in fact it should be on pornhub! Red Tyler will be doing blue tabs all afternoon so Ratboy has something to choke on , Spitty will be scouse personified , along with any other ex player they can shoehorn into the programme and I bet they are crawling out the woodwork! I wonder if they will get Slippy G back from Jockoland so sky can campaign for an honoury medal to be given to him? I'm all for people to have and freely express their own opinions but I don't really think that the pair of Gundi and Rodri is as bad as it is often made out. If it is clear to see that the combo is not good enough, Pep and his staff will know it. They make mistakes too, and not trying Walker at CB is probably a mistake in my book, but we played with Gundy and Rodri in our best performances this season, e.g. Real away and Manure away in the cup. In all games we lost with Rodri and Gundy we made comic mistakes in defence and missed good chances. It's too simplistic to explain them with Gundy and Rodri starting the games.

Very average these days but still top of the league with some brilliant players and an excellent manager. If they are very average what are Atleti who beat Liverpool twice?
