Yep - the Stanley Johnson, Nigel Farage and Nigel Lawson post Brexit plan being deployed there..............hang on aren't that trio pro-Leave.....?
I think that I might 'do a Lawson' - and sell up and move permanently to Cyprus once we have (really) left.

Going to be shit here if you believe what some are saying - and they have more sun - and the beer is cheaper - what's not to like?

Yet you are so supportive of Brexit - never had you down as Asil Nadir v2.0

This thread is rustier than Terry Waites bike.
I’m not great on this topic, don’t know a great deal about the deal we’re trying to get or the deals we can strike up with other countries... but there isn’t actually much discussion on that.

Just a lot of talk about being right or wrong about Brexit. The thread needs to move on from 2016-2019 and get into the 2020s.

Nah - I would be on the Southern side - not with all those criminal types up in the North

Some of the guys on here are starting to have me convinced that I would be better off out of the UK

Tempted to just while away the time observing just how bad the UK gets from a safe distance, whilst watching CITY in the local pub and popping back for the big games. I could spend my time just soaking up the sun, drinking beer and eating super food - and.....

If it all goes to shit for the UK - I will be sure to pop on and express my thanks to you and a few others for influencing my life choices.

Well said - and so say all of us (Leavers)

By deals I assume you mean free trade agreements. We're about to lose the best one we've ever had and start paying and charging tariffs on imports and exports with no machinery in place to collect our new "global tariffs". The Brexiters either don't want a deal or think the EU is going to give us a better deal than now (same benefits with no obligations) and/or don't give a toss about the damage to the economy (but think they are the patriots).

And they don't want to do detail (what happens to fish, farming or factories).

Well said. Arguing over the 'deal' is just a polite way for Remainers to vent frustration and as you say drag the debate back four years to the point where remain was an option. Entirely harmless.

Blood in the streets by JRM’s dad explains fully why the power brokers in Westminster don’t want a deal.
Spoiler alert, it’s not to benefit anyone in Sunderland or Burnley........

What deal is this you speak of? Point me at the political activity and then we can all discuss.

What has Remain as an option got to do with arguing now about what trade agreements we get or don't get? The only reason for looking back is to see the lies that are exposed by looking at the here and now and the future (which quite clearly is of no interest to you or the rest of the Leavers on here).

We’ve left. The extension is not to ‘stay’. We can’t ‘stay’. We left five months ago. The transition extension is to prevent the economy getting further fucked up the arse.

The transition period was designed to help British industry transition from a EU trading environment to a non EU trading environment and to manage the rule changes, new trade barriers etc. The only problem is we haven’t actually agreed the non EU trading environment so no one knows what to transition to and given the cut off is 6 months away that is a problem. Even more of a problem when the economy is currently being buggered by a pandemic.

good job its buggered the same as every other country in the world . Level playing field

Yeah you're right. Better to stay here when the mass unemployment, rising prices and lower standard of living hits.
I encourage you to use freedom of movement before it disappears forever and live in a EU country. If you’ve got the balls to leave the UK with it’s ‘mass unemployment, rising prices and lower standard of living’

Back to the horrors of getting a visa and a stamp in the passport!
