I been watching Garcia for a while now in the background playing youths etc, I think he's more than ready. We tried so hard to get him from Barca for a reason, reminds me of Cannavaro. He’ll get stronger and taller hopefully. This fella for me is the real deal we have to give him a chance, nothing but excellent so far. He reads the game perfectly, even bossing others about against Southampton. I think we've found an unpolished gem here folks.

Someone on here said he wasn't comfortable on the ball. He looks alright in these clips. He also has something that Garcia will never have, height. I hope he gets his chance.Bags of potential. An intelligent defender who's going to get better every year.
His gangly frame has taken some filling out but he's starting to get there and it's making a massive difference to his game/confidence.
I've said it before but he'll be a very solid PL centre half for someone and has all the tools to be an elite CB.

To be fair I think he can look awkward (or has in the past) due to his style/shape, so maybe that's why they formed that opinion. But he's always been pretty comfortable from what I've seen.
The height he can provide could be a big plus in our team. Garcia will certainly need some height alongside him.

We'd still have Fernandinho and in a real emergency Walker or Rodri.As you say though Alaba would be ideal as a left back that can cover centre back.Until Laporte or Koulibaly gets injured and we are left with 2 CBs with no experience.
