Not sure who the "few" are , there will be no points deduction next year because a process would have to be gone through , accusation , our defence , appeal etc., and some of our players agents KDB the main one , have already intimated they arent going anywhere

Your a WUM

Firstly read my all of my posts from this evening, I have said I 100% believe that we have won.

My original posts this evening were in response to it not being a big deal having a 1 year ban.

I was simply making a point that anything other than us winning is bad and will have other significant implications.

If you don't want to believe that then that's your choice. As for players saying they won't leave, Delph said he wasn't leaving Villa to sign for us, how did that work out again?

We have already seen rumours in the press that the Premier league would be up next if we lose.

As for being a wum, simply discussing a what if scenario of tomorrow's outcome which is similar to other members of this forum with a lot higher status than mine, is that not the point of a forum?

What are you referring to? Has he done an interview or something? I've been avoiding Sky etc. Sounds like you are referencing something in tomorrow's papers?

I can't see that @tolmie's hairdoo has replied to this and his last post was "goodnight campers".....

He is referring to the 2nd stage of yesterdays post-match press conference which is embargoed until 10:30 this evening for the papers tomorrow.

The quotes from that will appear on here shortly after and we will see Pep again in relaxed and confident mode.

This means the confidence levels on here will increase significantly assuming we buy into Pep already knowing the outcome.

We can then all go to bed in a confident frame of mind before the nerves kick-in again first thing in the morning.

I don’t think that is realistic. City WANT to participate in the Champions League, UEFA run it as a private competition. We will not be taking UEFA down or anything remotely close

If City lose, it’s over. End. The executive team will resign or be sent up the road and City will be on an emergency PR and Finance footing

Khaldoon will have a lot of explaining to do but I bet he pins it on the (ex) employees rather than a Europe wide conspiracy

True , but you cant beat a bit of bravado , let have the lot of them :)

Your main burden of proof is what the media say , give it a rest.

reporting on the BBC website that it could go both ways ??

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53366098

from what i have heard this week and its not from the club ? city did a deal and the 2 year ban will be lifted and suspended for 2 seasons, and the fine will be cut in half a city agreed to a 3 year period of having to show uefa the books, also admitted to some sort of blame in failure in understanding the rules not cheating ??

this is quoted on the BBC report above ???

but like many on here manchester city wanted to clear our name completely from the start so why do a deal with uefa, i don't get a deal myself and from the start people at the club have said we have done nothing wrong and will stand by that

so for me there is no middle ground here and manchester city have to win without a deals or questions, they will be asked by the fans and media on the full no wrong doing qoute they have stood behind only to cut a deal
They are just putting options out there ,that is all,we know all of it

You're making too little of it. I care about a guilty verdict which essentially sets the legal seal for those who have long tried to deligitimise all the trophies we have won since 2011.

We would likely start next season with a significant points reduction from the Premier League, possibly the least they would try to enforce.

On top of that, hundreds of jobs are in the balance across the club.

Which is why I have always been confident of a result, because the stakes are so incredibly high for City to have still taken it all the way to this point, knowing that.
Stand back

WE DID NOT MATCH FIX SO WILL NOT BE DOCKED POINTS

Carry on

There is nothing to prove, the point that I and a few others have been making this evening is losing would be massive for us and has a whole host of possible negative implications.

People have been saying on this very thread for weeks that winning this is bigger than any trophy we have won.
