Im not pretending to understand what the fuck all this financial stuff/arguing was all about but I know the importance of it all to the club and us fans and what could have happened if it had gone the other way

Love this from the Simon Stone on the BBC, especially the last paragraph:
"Manchester City have enjoyed some major successes on the field in recent years but arguably this is the biggest of the lot.

They didn't cheat the system in order to put their brilliant squad together - and they are not banned from Europe.

They did fail to co-operate with the initial inquiry - but as they believed it was flawed and prejudiced in the first place, I don't think a 10m Euro fine is going to bother them too much."

Thats because we have not done what they say we have, exonerated, not guilty, simple.

Had we done anything they have accused us of re FFP breaches we would have been banned.

The fine is for non cooperation with the twats, that is all.

Manchester City is a corrupt orgnanization that refued to cooperate with the UEFA investigation in the first place. They've had billions blown into the club through the oil sheikhs and that is the only reason they are a club anyone cares about in the first place.
Congratulations Manchester City fans. You are celebrating getting away with fraud.



The €10m just looks like a bribe to play CL football now.

Seems bizarre that we're being fined for not co-operating with an enquiry that UEFA had no right to open. But there you go.
I can hear the piss boiling all across Europe.

The decison to not co-operate with UEFA and go straight to CAS was inspired and well worth £8m. It laid down a marker. Why co-operate with a corrupt organisaton which was leaking confidential commercial information to our rivals who were then leaking to the media. CAS knew exactly what happened. Heads must roll at UEFA though I think Ceferin will be safe.
