I am not sure you grasped the point, which is that the US has consistently demonstrated it is a far greater threat to world peace than China ever has. The Chinese are not our enemy and it is ridiculously hypocritical of us to move our manufacturing over there, to buy their output in the $Trillions with everything from iPhones to trainers and yet then say they are a security threat. They are either allies or not, and clearly it is the former.
Don't agree, the west relies on the USA for our protection, USA is UK's and Australia's closest relationship. In fact Europe/NATO relies heavily on the USA.
English speaking nations always stand together in conflicts and wars. If you think for one minute China would be with the UK or any western nation in a world war you are deluded.
Go to Hong Kong and ask the citizens what they think of China.
Many Chinese buy apartments in Australia, not to live in, but to get their money out of China as they don't trust their own government. They keep them for a couple of years, then sell, the proceeds are Australian dollars in Australian banks, well away from China and the communist government.
If you trust China to supply sensitive 5g equipment to the UK then fair enough, I'm not going to argue with your beliefs.
