CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Ziegler in the Times (who's been well briefed by City) says that City's refusal to co-operate was on the basis of "the fruit of the poisoned tree" legal principle and the fact that they knew most, if not all, of the allegations were time-barred. He also quoted an unnamed source at City as saying they believed the Qatari Security Services engineered the hack. Wonder if the Saudi action against BeIn Sports is connected?
It’s odd how a lot of the very stupid reaction is that it became ‘time-barred’ due to City not cooperating with none of the journos trying to put anyone right. Never sure whether most of them are biased or just don’t understand a lot of stuff, although I do appreciate that those 2 things are in no way mutually exclusive ;-)

WTF. Still I'm not realky suprised. Saudi and the UAE nearly went to war with Qatar three years ago. That said our email security was shit so you don't need spook standard hacking to get in.

Pep talks fast and misses the odd word out. Sometimes it's worth reading what he actually says after watching.

Guardiola: “People cannot forget, we were damaged, our prestige and our reputation was damaged, by allegations that are not true. The other ones shouldn’t say much more on this.”

Now I've heard a lot about City moving on and not bothering taking things further and I thought the same but...is it me...that seems to strongly suggest City are about to retaliate after this.

Our reputation was damaged...shouldn't say much more.....he's very publically stating that he feels that too much has been said and to be careful.

If damage to reputation can be proved in court and people continue to say untruths about City that looks like action will be taken.

Have I got this wrong and reading too much into it?

We have had our victory but imho we cannot rest on our laurels The club has to stop being mild and meek especially to the media who were still hounding us even after the CAS ruling. Those bastards ( not all but many) wrote in anger as they were denied the pleasure of gloating and gleefully editing the downfall of Manchester City it was nasty and vengeful yesterday ffs imagine if we lost Thats why the club has to STOP the constant bullying of our club by the written and vocal media WE have shown our mettle on the pitch now beef up our legal dept, no, not in a obnoxious way like Fergie But virus permitting lets not welcome those on a match days the freedom of the place plus food and drink aplenty, only to leave and scribe another column of shit aimed at us

But proven not guilty surely couldn’t be appealed anyway? @projectriver @Prestwich_Blue
It's unlikely they'll appeal CAS' decision. With that said, UEFA charged City with shit evidence, urged by the European cartel. So I wouldn't put it past them to be "influenced" into making another head scratching decision.

Then again, I know nothing about sports law lol.
