LOL, well growing up with a 0151 prefix and L postcode I still always considered myself from Cheshire so not sure what they put in the pot.
Its simply down to the "istree"...the fact we had it and felt we deserved it due to it going on so long.
Maybe playing in the top flight kept the title in sight and allowed us to say "this year is our year", it was always so close. Thats where it comes from. Apart from the cup success and the odd league City simply havent had that long run, so haven't succumbed to the disease of "right".
Ooops I have fallen into the trap of making excuses....lol

Once again i find myself agreeing ...but only to a point.
The difference being that so many (LFC fans) did fall into the trap of thinking the good times would go on forever, they did think it was "our right" and the fall from that peak was tough. Made even worse due to the fact that we just fell into mediocrity rather than becoming really really poor. It was always just out of reach but we were simply never good enough.
I think City hadn't had that long run of success, so whilst the bragging rights in the city went to the rags and allowed for much piss taking, it was all about a local rivalry (IMHO). At that point City did drop down the leagues and so the lows were far lower than anything Liverpool have ever experienced. It was from that point that i think the self depreciation comes from. Equally I think that gives City fans so much kudos for filling out grounds like never before outside the Prem/top flight. It gives them the the right to say look where we have come from. I think it also gives them a degree of humility that they know it "could" happen again (although unlikely).
I think a spell out of the top flight would make many fans appreciate where they are and give them a sense of reality.
You can fuck off if you think I’m going to give you a ‘like’ but at the moment you don’t seem too bad.
Don’t reply, I need a shower.

Yes and when you won the CL the other year fans of other clubs had it shoved down our throats that LFC were the best team in Europe. When in fact you lost 4 drew 1 ( I think ) on the way to winning it and to qualify you finish 25 point behind your countrys league winners !!
You got lucky and did well to win it but best in Europe, no

PS this isnt a personal attack on LGWIO you seem ok.

LOL cheers, like anything the bigger the group of people the more likelihood of there being more dickheads amongst them. So it follows Liverpool and the rags will have a bigger proportion of dicks supporting them.

I gave him a like because he seems more like the Liverpool supporting scousers I used to work with, who were all decent lads.

Nowadays most of the interaction I have with liverpool fans is on social media ,or listening to them on radio or TV.And lots of them come across as bellends.

Anyway this fella seems alright....for now ;)

Fair enough. Not all scousers steal cars and rob people. Some are into fraud. :)

OMG I have just lived up to the steroetype by spending so long on here this afternoon...simply to avoid doing some work the wife has been nagging me about. I think I may actually have to do the decorating tomorrow

There are no stereotypes in Liverpool.

They've all been stolen.

The final crank up was the bus attack. There would have been predominantly football on the agenda but the sheer injustice of the situation cost City the tie. I don't think it would be anywhere near the bas feeling if it wasn't for that. Liverpool football club colluded with the dibble to enable violent intimidation. Individual Liverpool fans are not to blame but there was no attempt to condemn it apart from Klopps pre prepared statement. That is my view

Yes can see that the whole bus incident was the straw that broke alot of camels backs.
No excuses for what took place, there is passion for your clubs and then there is simply going toooooooo far.
Think i said as much in one of my first posts on here that the bus assault had been the biggest influencers (hate that word these days) in the relationship between the two clubs. What was a not too bad relationship (IMO) previously, damaged it beyond repair.

Agree I wasnt keen on liverpool before the coach attack but after that for me it went to another level.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing in 2018 an organised attack on the away teams coach.
I think if your police force had taken action and some of these fans had been nicked, fined and perhaps did abit of time, I might not have such a strong dislike towards LFC. But yet again you got of scott free no arrest and a silly little 17k fine. In this day and age of CCTV every where , everyone has a camera on their phone yet your police force couldnt find anyone not even the fans stood on their police Van's !

I am sorry to say that due to this one event my view of liverpool fans has changed forever. I know you arent all like that but I wont even talk to a liverpool fan nowadays sadly.

This is me. I don't know Scouse ones but I can't bring myself to discuss football with a couple of really nice people. It's like PTSD for my club!

The daft thing is every Liverpool

I was at the court when he was there. Same day as Guvnors trial. He had 2 new Diddy men. Diddy pay his tax and Diddy Fuck.
Heard that many a time. As far as I'm aware, he did pay the tax, just found not guilty by a totally unbiased scouse jury in Liverpool,
Just like Steve Gerrard and his affray charge. The forerunner to VAR found in his favour.
