Celtic thread 2020/21

Their season starts in just over two hours.

Will they make it ten in a row?

Or will Slippy G. put a spanner in the works?

I'm looking forward to @Magicpole's unbiased views and neutral opinions on the upcoming year.

;-)

Yes we will. And I watched "Slippys All Mediocres," yesterday. Their midfield is shit. Too slow, not enough class and that can be read on Follow Follow too.

They have no one that can consistently see a defence splitting pass, not a single one of them would make our bench. Morelos is off and depending what they get, probably no more than £12m tops, they need to buy creative midfielders.

But, fuck them, it's about 7s and what we do or dont do. Only we can fuck ourselves up, we have historical form in that, so I will let you know after Oct 5th if we have gifted them a chance.

And

I was going to write a match report, but. I have just been informed by the person who decides stuff, that we are going to the beach to have a walk.

You, like me will just have to wait. :)

Reports up here that we were offering Steven Fletcher a one year deal, have been met with an almost universal oh for fuck sake no.

Latest is the deal is off and I hope it stays that way.

We are being linked with a young City "starlet" Lucas Nmecha. Either loan or loan to buy. Anybody have any info on the lad?

The Killie lads were top drawer today. Chris Burke at 36 is absolutely top drawer when it comes to work ethic and intelligence. Celtic offered fuck all and but for a goalkeeping howler, Killie should have had 3 points.

And the penalty wasn't a howler? You are though bang on about us offering fuck all. In fact, you're too generous. We were utter shite. Killie defended really well, but we made that easy by not being able to make a pass. Defensively shaky and we never play well on that abortion of a pitch. The only good thing for us, is t will hopefully focus the minds of the board in getting in the players we need. Although, knowing our board of dithering cunts, I am taking little to no solace in that. Killie deserved a point but a win would have meant changing your ten behind the ball tactics and that could have cost you.
