Our first game is the 19th vs. Wolves. The Villa game is postponed.
I might be wrong, but I heard that the first game would only be postponed by 2-3 days.

If Txiki doesn’t wrap this up, we will struggle next season. Chelsea would have no problem scoring against us with their new formidable trio.
I honestly can’t believe what the club is doing. This guy is not one of several high quality options on the market - he is the option and exactly what we need. How they can play such a high risk strategy with a baller of this calibre is beyond me. He’s not a decent footballer, he’s among the worlds best CBs and the season starts in just a few weeks time.
We don't know what the strategy is, or what is happening.
We know we will have a limit on what we are willing to pay, that's it.

You’re right, we don’t know what’s happening but it seems quite clear Koulibaly is available on the market and sometimes you just got to pay up to get a world class player.
We tried the whole ”not gonna overpay”-strategy last summer with Maguire and look how that turned out this season, although happy to dodge that bullet.

I'm sure there are non-City fans or wums in this thread. We have no right just to go and buy, especially £90m, 29 year olds

We need a cb, but if he's too expensive we'll have to sign another.
Maguire would be another soso cb.

if no other clubs come forward we are in the box seat and can pay more in line to what we want
