What he eventually resigned for was unquestionably cringeworthy and unprofessional.

I think he got on with our owners & I thought he actually ended up moving to Abu Dhabi after he left Manchester, but might be remembering things incorrectly.

It's crazy to think how far our club has come though. He left nearly 10 years ago!

It all seems to fit and I can only see him staying before he goes to any other club than us. Barcelona desperately need the money to rebuild and this will be one of their only chances to cash in.

Not sure how it will be financed.

Image rights will be very lucrative for both the Club,and Messi.

Him coming isn't a major problem, it's signing him that's the major problem.

If this release clause has rolled over like Barcelona are claiming then we'll have to pay at least £700m to get him because that's what his buy out clause is.

If it hasn't then there is no problem and we'll get the best player in the world for free.
