Bump !
Goodnight
Goodnight
This doesn't bode well for the leave on a free route. There may be more to it than these guys haven't thought of but it looks a minefield City would be mad to get involved in.
Looks like if it will happen, it will be a fee or fee plus players.

Q&A: How strong is Messi’s legal case? Could he be banned or forced to pay €700m?
The Athletic has spoken to Spanish legal experts to better understand what could be the most jaw-dropping legal case in football historyt.co
Feeling a bit less optimistic this morning having slept off last night's excitement.
Reasons:
- Him leaving suddenly might crash Barcelona's finances, I'm sure he won't want that
messi is on huge huge Wages the fact they are in such bad financial state plays into our hands.
- Bartomeu's challenge may make him think twice. Maybe it's not so bad if he can accelerate a change at board level. has nothing to Do with the president it’s more about how Messi feels he will waste last few years of his career not competing.
- If it was advanced as we think and his camp were confident in their reading of the release clause, then why the pause? I'm sure there are a million reasons but it's made me question. He could still change his mind. His dad is due in Europe next week. Expect things to speed up then. Of course he could change his mind but that could be said of any transfer
I met someone who worked at the factory in HR who told me that it was deliberate.I thought that TV ad with the adults talking like kids was downright fucking creepy.
Where did you get that old photo of me?
Funny how it's us and it's complicated and difficult yet in the same breath the media are saying utd could afford him and PSG.This doesn't bode well for the leave on a free route. They came from Sport, which is as unreliable a source as you’ll find. Now others are just recycling that story as they like to do.where the fuck are these press stories coming from that we are offering Gabby, Bernardo and Garcia as part of the deal. That must be shite surely. Garcia fair enough because he wants to go but the other two? For a free agent?
KDB is the only player in this squad who will be tough to replace and that's in 4-5 years time. The rest of the squad is fairly young.Give half off of the squad away and be left with a team full of 30+ year olds that need replacing in 1-3 years, surely not a recipe for disaster.
What on earth are you talking about?Give half off of the squad away and be left with a team full of 30+ year olds that need replacing in 1-3 years, surely not a recipe for disaster.
This from the same online rag that had us hung drawn and quartered for FFP violations! Not worth the paper it's not written on!This doesn't bode well for the leave on a free route. Magic mushrooms are bad shitWhat on earth are you talking about?
I've heard people say £100m a year allowing for bonuses and image rights but I wouldn't know other than what gets mentioned online. I don't understand where he stands contractually. I watched an interview with Balague yesterday where he said he had spoke to 5 different people about Messi's contract / release clause and they all had different opinions on what it meant. Surely if he could buy himself out then these experts would know? It does seem that players like Herrera have used this to transfer from this club, and yet if it was open to Messi, why hasn't it been mentioned. if it was possible, I think teams like Real madrid would have a complete field day. they could do what they want.I always thought players after a certain age could buy their last year of a contact out abroad, what’s Messi on a year roughly? £60m ish?
Agree, but Tolmie reckons Messi has no impact on out other signings,he was expecting 3 more which may include a forward we thought was to replace Aguero next year might be to replace Jesus this. Who knows, I would prefer to keep Jesus though.KDB is the only player in this squad who will be tough to replace and that's in 4-5 years time. The rest of the squad is fairly young.
Gündogan is replaceable, we are already looking for someone to come in after Aguero goes, we look great for the future if anything, I can understand the depth issue with selling Jesus, being left with just 1 striker and plenty of false 9s, but age isn't an issue imo.
