With all due respect you’re the one asserting Messi is finished physically and psychologically!
Posters are just pointing out the error of your ways by suggesting you should look at the stats from last season before making these remarks...

For me Lautaro will be lined up to go there not Gab but I’m praying Koeman’s predilection for Mane takes over.

25 goals 21 assists in 35 games this season in la liga alone. Yup can’t make a difference anymore lol. He has won them more games my himself then anyone. Where do you get this assumption that he is not able to make a difference?
 
Sorry for interrupting the thread but wondered if any of you blues could help me.

My Dad posts on here all the time. He's been a member for as long as I can remember.

He left the house on Wednesday and we haven't seen him since. He's packed the tent and raided the cupboards and fridge. There was a full packet of sliced corned beef that's gone, we think he also has the red sauce.

If anyone hears from him, could you tell him work have been on to the phone today if they don't hear from him today, he needn't go back next week.

He’s only coming for Carabao and CL group games so we can rest Foden.
 
No doubt his best years are behind him, but we are talking about probably the greatest player of all time and his stats last season were still outstanding and that was in an average Barca side. As long as we don't sacrifice the future young talents at our club then it's a no brainer for me. I'm just gutted that if he joins us it will be behind closed doors for some of the season at least.

I would just add that when I say his best years are behind him he scored an outrageous amount of goals a few seasons ago. 80odd in all comps??

hahahaha (x3). I have my resevations butI'm waiting to see which Messi turns up at City before making any real predictions. Oh by the way thats not the best disguise in the world.
