It shouldn’t be. I’ve been told that it’ll take 7-10 days for this to play out. There’ll be a lot of briefs in that time.

A big issue has been Jorge Messi getting to Spain from Argentina due to COVID. Until he gets there nothing will happen IMO.

Barto wants to sell he just wants as big a fee as possible.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see something like £150m in the end.

@MillsyTheMosher is getting reported the first time he behaves like he was.

twitter is full of attention seeking wannabes. Reacting to tweets from people no fucker has heard off is senseless and does nothing for the forum or threads. Want to get excited about a tweet then wait for the official accounts of Barca and City to comment would be my best advice.
He and I have chatted about posting in ways that seem like WUMing and what will happen if that occurs in the future.

Barcelona aren't coming out of this well at all. I understand they have to try and screw as much as they can out of any deal and they don't want to lose him. However......come on. The player has been at the club since the age of 12. They have had the best years out of him, he has won them.countless trophies, he is 33 years of age. They should let him walk with grateful thanks.

Maybe its not a bad idea to crank the pressure up by setting a deadline for this.
To scare both Messi's entourage and Barca people.

also tell them it has to be a free transfer nothing or we give two players Garcia and Scott Carson maximum.

By the sounds of it in here, several people already did.

"Informan Sport y El Periódico que Messi tiende la mano al Barcelona y que pronto habrá una reunión entre sus abogados y el club para buscar una solución amistosa a su salida. No habría marcha atrás, pero sí que no quiere irse dando un portazo después de tantos años.

También continúa el runrún de que el argentino podría romper su silencio en las próximas horas. ¡Seguimos muy atentos a todo lo que sucede alrededor del argentino!"

Sport and El Periódico report that Messi is reaching out to Barcelona and that there will soon be a meeting between his lawyers and the club to seek a friendly solution on his departure. There would be no going back, but he does not want to go slamming the door after so many years.

The runrun also continues that the Argentine could break his silence in the next few hours. We continue to be very attentive to everything that is happening around the Argentine

Not sure. Tebas and uefa would love to keep him tied up in court for what are probably the last couple of years of his top flight career rather than start for us in the CL.
That is true, but the socio (and, really, general public) backlash would likely see Tebas and Bartomeu run out of Spain, so they’ll be carefully considering their options.

Cheers

Do we know if getting him for free is out of the question?
