Where can he go to?

He won't go to Real.

Bayern can't afford him.

Juve, no chance they already have Ronaldo.

PSG, have players on high wages one is +500k and the other is +300k a week.

United lol.

Which leaves only one destination that can actually afford him. C'mon Khaldoon make it happen son! :-)

Inter, especially with Italy's new tax laws and apparentely they have cash. Whether he can fit into their team is another question, but Juve did sign Cristiano Ronaldo so anything is possible

By signing Messi we would arguably be funding Barça's squad revolution at a time where we desperately need 4-5 key signings. No thanks. Get Upamecano (80M), Alaba (50M), Thiago/Aouar (30M-50M) and Sancho (100M). And start a charm operation so we can get Mbappé for free in 2022 when his contract expires.
I mean PSG gave them over 200m and Barcelona blew almost all of it on Coutinho. I wouldn't have faith in them to spend wisely.

The way they spend their money is their problem. But 200M is a great starting point for a squad renewal nonetheless. We did it in 2017 when we brought in Bernardo, Danilo, Walker, Mendy and Ederson.

Where would he play ?

CF - Between Sergio & Jesus
LW - Owned by Raheem
RW - Competition between Mahrez, Torres & Bernardo

In addition to that he can't do play the Pep way now, can't press and track back :)

To be serious, just cancel the Koulibaly deal that will cost the club close to 100m ( Fees + wages ) and spend it on Leo.

Keep Stones, and the rest of our CBs ( apart from Eric Garcia ) and we will be fine.

If they sold Messi, their fanbase would probably demand a high profile signing to replace him or revolt. I reckon they'd spend it all on one player. Maybe try and resign Neymar or something.

My view probably has no rational tactical or business logic to it.....we are only here the once and I want to be able to see the great man in a sky blue shirt. My lifetime of watching city started with having Crossan Young And Sear as my hero’s reenacting what I’d watched every Sunday in Debdale Park with my mates...... oh for the chance to buy a full kit and play out The latest Lionel City goal in Stamford or Cheethams Park every Sunday
