I've said I think they were great buys but I was talking in the context of us not overpaying for players, if they represent bargains because of how they turned out which I agree you could argue they are one has to acknowledge that we have probably overpayed for players such as Stones, Mendy, Nolito, Bravo Jovetic Fernando etc.So 10 years service from both players at £2.4 mill per season & £3.8 mill per season for Silva & Aguero & you don’t think that’s a bargain?
Are you sure they weren’t a bargain?
Never mind what Messi will take home in pay I still need to know what’s a Greek Ern?Arsenal!

That’s himPaul Smith? Surely not that dracula looking prick from the Sunday supplement who tore absolute strips off us on the morning of our game v Fulham.
Roughly similar for me. They’re always 48-72 hours behind on everything until there’s a press release.Haven't watched that shite for about 4 or 5 years, they never have "news".
Portsmouth fan, not SpursThe Spurs fan who looked like a snooker player from beyond the grave ?

Yeah we're not too good in the transfer market - generally pay over the odds and don't get value for money.Sergio Agüero, £38m

Those top 6 sum it up for me - not worth the money, or haven't enhanced their value ;)
Fairly certain Messi could request and receive an approved transfer through FIFA while it played out in court, too.Its just posturing.
Barca showing they put up a fight etc...
No way Messi is going to sit out a year of football and then leave on a free. It’s just pointless all round.
They will negotiate.
What about Lake and Palmer :)I think we could say Emerson was a bargin.
When you look how much dippers and chelsea have paid for worse keepers
I don't dislike the guy but we ended up replacing him with Caballero half way through the season who also won us cups.Bravo won us cups
