Stones TOTALLY fucks up for two seasons.....He needs time, he would come good, he is still a young defender, he is going through a lot, he has issues with his wife, he has confidence issues, he's an introvert,the media are targeting him, the manager loves him, the manager doesn't love him, he has huge balls and sometimes those balls can get in the way, Falcao is a more experienced player but don't worry stones would come good, Firmino stole the ball from Stones, its not fair! Stones is one of those players who eventually peak when they are 26, he is one of those players who would eventually peak at 27, he is one of those players who would eventually peak at 28, VAR hasn't been fair to Stones, The media hasn't been fair to stones, Pep hasn't been fair to stones!

Garcia makes an atte ......(abruptly cuts in!)OH FFS! Would he be getting in the team if he wasn't from Barcelona?

Something like that.

Just happy Khaldoon, Txiki and Pep are running this club instead of some people here who would give Stones a lifetime contract just for showing up to training.

Two month ago, I was 500% sure the club would get rid of Stones. Then Garcia told he’s not extending, but I’m still about 95% sure. I honestly think the club would rather cash in what the can on Stones and get Garcias quality for another year, even though he is leaving.

Enough said about John. Let’s see who was right in a few weeks.

Have you seen this place when Stones has made an error over the past 4 seasons? It's brutal towards him. It's also brutal to all the players you listed too, which is still as wrong a way to talk about a player as anyone. The only reason people are going easier on Stones is because after 4 years of mostly giving him non stop shit the bar's become so low people don't have the ridiculously high expectations of him to put him against.


Only KDB and Aguero get let off the hook for fuckups, and occasionally Fernandinho too.

We are, the issues with all those players were injuries. Idk how we have a horrible injury record then they leave and boom they are healed. Happened with every manager we had
 
As much I don’t really rate John stones I would rather keep him Than otamendi who I think Is just happy get his pay and sit on the bench . At least John stones looks like he wants to try and get back again .

If he's ever worth 80m, I'm sure we'd keep hold of him. However, sent out on loan and given the opportunity to get back to his best, which we can not afford to offer him in our defense, he could be worth a lot more than 30 million pounds. He was an outstanding defender before his injury and hasn't been given the game time to try and get back to that level.

Absolute rubbish. Stones gets plenty of stick on here. You're obviously not a fan of his, so you notice it when people stick up for him, whereas, you will notice the more the stick towards players you are a fan of.
Personally, I think Stones needs to be loaned out or sold. But he gets just as much of a hard time, on here, as any other defender that drops a bollock.

Garcia isnt better than Stones.
Stones at full confidence is a very good CB imo , it’s just so rare that he has any confidence. I don’t know what happened to him in his personal life over the last 18 months, but he has miles better physical attributes and is great on the ball.

Garcia probably reads the game better with better positioning and anticipation, but when you have no pace, strength or height I just can’t see him being a top defender. Stones is already there if he could just sort his head out.

That's one aspect of our transfer policy that needs looking at if you use rags and dippers as a model they virtually always sell on players whilst they still have value in the market its very rare a player retires from them.

Stones gets as much shit as anyone & far more than his poor quality replacement who has already helped knock us out of two cups & has only been in the side a few months!

Do you think Pep will want to go into the new season with only Fernandinho & his son, as right sided central defenders who have ever played in the Premier League ? With no real pre season ?
